It's hard not to be inspired by reading great fanfiction. This story was heavily influenced by Sunfreak's writing style, or at least the ending is. And special thanks to Wiljo, my impromptu editor, couldn't have posted this without ya. Well, read and enjoy!

"Sora, you wanted one, didn't you?"
How you felt. I wonder how I could've missed it.
"A paopu fruit?"
"If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what."
You gave me so many little hints, but back then, either I was too dense or you were too subtle.
"C'mon, I know you want to try it."
The way you looked at me as you handed me the star shaped fruit... That look that I just couldn't put my finger on...
But thinking back on it now, partly why I threw that fruit away was because that look you gave me weirded me out.
And the thing is, part of me did want to try it...
Now, the only paopu fruit I have is the one that Kairi made for me. When I have it in my hands, I think of her...
And I think of you...
The first time you lost to me at Rock Paper Scissors and noogied me (the only thing I ever beat you at).
The time you laughed at my knock-knock joke when other kids called it stupid (I guess that joke was a little lame).
The time you held your hand out to me, silently asking me to join your side (and I nearly did, but I became the Keyblade Master instead).
And the time we met again, fighting alongside different people, but fighting for the same reason.
Kairi...
You thought I liked her.
And I still do...
But the way I feel now...let's just say I wish I still had that paopu fruit you gave me.

I want to rewind our pasts back to that day.
