Folder #1 Prompt #4---Description
She climbs out of the well, making her way towards the aqua blue sky. The meadow that surrounds her has an almost calming affect. A green ocean, with each movement of the wind making gentle waves of it's own. The same soft, gentle breeze is blowing, making her dark, ebony colored hair flow about her. Pastel colored flowers grow in abundance near the edge of the all consuming forest. As she breaths in, the sweet aroma of lilacs and fresh spring rain hit her. She begins to saunter towards Edo, the city of Tokyo five-hundred years ago. The rolling water from the distant spring can be heard over her footsteps. A butterfly flutters by, tickling her ear with it's wings. The grass brushes against her calves causing them to itch. She breathing in, yet again, and inhales the sweet nectar of the flowers. Her nose can also pick up the distinct scent of boiled herbs, which are used to make the majority of the medicines of this time. With each step she can feel the untainted jewel around her neck bump against her chest, a sad reminded of what she has done. A small fox demon child comes running from the direction of Edo. This is the little boy that she, herself, has taken in, mothered, played with, and even protected, Shippou is his name. With his vibrant, fire colored hair and sparkling, emerald colored eyes filled with innocence she could not help but cherish and treat him as her own. The young woman can feel the slight weight of the boy as he leaped into her arms and scampers to her shoulders. "Mom, dad is waiting for you in the hut." Yes, he called her mom, he has been doing that for about a month now, but she didn't mind. Actually she considered it an honor to be called that on little word. "Okay honey, lets go find him." she responds , with a smile brightening her face. They begin the rest of their short venture towards Edo, towards her Sesshoumaru.
