Chapter 1Paige Michalchuk crawled out from her covers . She had not acquired the amount of sleep she usually received. She had been out with Spinner the night before. (Several months had passed after the school shooting, Spinner being shunned and him getting involved in a relationship with Darcy Edwards.)
It all started on a Friday, Paige and Spinner decided to put everything behind them. Jimmy was walking again due to yet another surgery. Jimmy was back with Hazel after Ellie decided to date Sean again after he returned from Wasega Beach (his parent's house.)
They were headed to Spinners grandparent's house in Oshawa, several miles from Toronto. It was a long trip and Spinner was driving, while Paige slept while they took turns driving.
The weather was cold. A light snow was falling and it made the roads slick. It was nine o'clock at night. A light blanket of snow was covering the roads and trees. An ice storm had moved in a few weeks before, some remaining ice lingered on the road.
Ending In Tradgedyby New Found Glory was playing on the radio.

A piece of ice had hit the windshield cracking it. Spinner lost control of the car; it had rolled into an embankment. Paige never woke up - she had slept through the ordeal. Spinner was unconscious.
Lights were flashing, and sirens wailed. The interstate had been shutdown. Spinner and Paige were still in the car, which had rolled ten times.
Music still blared in the car.

Rescue workers retrieved the couple from the car. They were both rushed to the hospital, and were dead upon arrival. They died together, as they had planned when they were going out. They were dead, dead as all can be
