Hi Everyone! Ok This story is my thought process this morning. Its Merrys POV. If you read my story Everything (Don't bother if you didn't, I don't like how it turned out) then you'll know I liked Travis. Well we're together now and this is sort of based on us a little- our conversations. Travis, love you, this ones yours hon. Oh, and I own nothing except my thoughts and even those are stolen sometimes :-P
Downgrading
I lay here with my head resting on your shoulder, eyes closed thinking quietly. We joke that I downgraded with you. I was with Estella. She had a job, her own house, she was a lass my own age. My family loved her.
But I gave her up for you, Pippin. A younger lad. You don't work, unless you consider your jokes and pranks work. All the effort you put into them, they may as well be. And I'm sure our family won't exactly be thrilled about us either.
Bit I don't think I downgraded. In order to believe I was downgrading, I would have to believe Estella is better than you. When I got you, I got all I was hoping for, and more.
And I hope you don't really think I downgraded when I decided to be with you. You're the most amazing person I've ever met. You are the only person in the world that makes me this happy. And I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life. I can't imagine my life without you. I don't ever want to be without you. I want to spend my life with you.
I lay here wondering if I should tell you all this. "Pippin?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
That seems to cover it.
