This is the story of Maleficent's loyal servant, "Diaval". On how he became the first and only creature that truly knows Maleficent.

After Aurora comes home to the Moors, she admits to Maleficent that, sometimes, she wishes Maleficent could be by her side while she was at the human kingdom. In her own words, on especially bad days, all she would want was her mom.

When the second movie came out I had too many ideas and too little time, so I turned the ideas into drabbles.

After the death of King Stefan, the Moors had finally found peace, and Maleficent had found her first true love. But who was to say there would not be another? As a new generation is born in the Moors, the rage against Maleficent and her lands runs deep in the blood of a few select humans of that same generation. Now Maleficent must protect her new found love in her final battle.

Diaval truly saw Princess Aurora grow in grace and beauty. As time goes on Diaval begins to have feelings for the girl. Now Diaval along with his mistress must figure out how to break the curse. Even if the curse is lifted will he be able to compete with the handsome Prince Phillip for the affection of Sleeping Beauty.

It was a new day, the dawn of a new chapter for you all. The air was crisp and briny, and work on a magical bridge between the kingdoms was already underway. Which meant it was all the more crucial for you to map the territory and identify places in need of preservation for their medicinal qualities, and to do so quickly.

It's a beautiful day in the Nest, and Conall must once again address his teenage daughter's attempts at craftsmanship.

"Let him tell them stories of wild earth, as long as he told them nothing more." Borra comforts Udo's fledglings. Borra's partner takes stock of what their coming war is meant to defend.

Emotions are such a fragile thing aren't they? Especially when you love someone. Both Diaval and Maleficent struggle as they find out how they feel about each.

Maleficent has been both guardian and protector to the Moors. One day she is betrayed by a human she once viewed as a friend and perhaps more. Afterward Maleficent cut the Moors off from the humans and her heart from love. Throughout all this Maleficent wasn't alone. Her servant Diaval remains and her younger sister Serenity. *Based off of 2009 and eventually goes into 2019 film*

On Aurora's wedding day, Maleficent notices a small change on her goddaughter: she is pregnant! Beaming with joy Aurora can't believe she and Diaval will be a family soon. Many exciting days lay before them as they prepare to be parents of a certainly restless child. It will be a sweet journey of Aurora and Diaval becoming parents for the first time.

Maleficent is stuggling with the changes after Aurora's and Phillip's wedding.

After Stefan's Death everything was peaceful. Aurora and her friends become half Faes. Not everything is okay. Prince Phil's mother want the Moor and will do anything. The Faes show up at Aurora's Castle during a storm weak, tired and some injured.

The dinner scene from the second movie. How the conversation might have gone had Diaval been mistaken for Maleficent husband and Aurora's father and the Queen wasn't as good as gaslighting. I feel like Diaval doesn't get enough credit for his part in raising Aurora even though he's pretty much her Godfather with all he does

"I never said, I don't want her to marry. Just not-", he stopped himself and swallowed his rash words. "Just not the prince", she finished his sentence. Understanding flashed in her eyes. Aurora married Prince Philip. But Diaval can't be happy for her and Maleficent wants to know why. Maybe Aurora's choice was not the right one?

He couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Even after all those years he hadn't found the right words for her. For all of her. No words could cope with her beauty, her shining soul, her golden heart. Maybe he didn't even know enough words to try it. Diaval is thinking about how perfect Aurora is and how he could never keep up with her perfection.

Aurora wants to help Diaval learning to read and write. But Diaval has other things in mind what he could do with his beatiful wife.

"In the last years the things had changed. He had found a mate. Maleficent still had no idea how this had happened and if she had foreseen it, she maybe would have intervened. Their lovey-dovey billing and cooing was insufferable." Maleficent watches Diaval and his mate, wondering how times have changed.

Aurora wants to know how it feels to fly. Diaval is there to show her. "Your heart becomes light as a feather and you have butterflies in your stomach. You feel secure and almost dizzy."

Diaval spots a light in the castle of the Moors in the middle of the night. He's worried about the young queen. Why isn't she sleeping?
