In the beautiful spring month of June, what is better than spending a free period outside in the glorious sunshine? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Two students were outside during their free arithmancy period on a day like this. They were the only ones outside at the time.
First they took a little walk around the lake, holding hands. Whilst walking, they came to the infamous tree that stood near the lake. Somehow, the male of the two managed to convince the female to join him in climbing the tree. So they sat in the tree, hidden from the view of others, doing whatever a female and male all alone up a tree would do.
However they were not the only ones who wanted to enjoy the great outside. One of their classmates, who happened to be quite the Gossip Queen, strolled over to the tree too.
She was just about to sit down when she felt the tree moving. Naturally, she looked up and was met with a great surprise.
There on one of the middle branches were the Heads of the school, making out.
Quickly she ran back into the school to tell others of what she had witnessed.
The couple still continued to snog; completely unaware that someone had even been there.
Meanwhile the Gossip Queen quickly found some of her allies and told them of what she had seen but they didn't believe her. So they all went outside to make sure that the truth was being told.
Up the tree were definitely the Head Boy and Girl.
And instead of going around telling more people to come and see like they usually would, they started singing to attract the attention of others.
"Draco and Hermione sitting in a tree..."
Draco and Hermione broke apart as soon as they heard the voices of others singing.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
The voices were female and coming from beneath them and getting louder by each word. This was not at all good.
"First comes LOVE! Then comes MARRIAGE!"
By now, the people in the greenhouses and those by Hagrid's hut had heard them. Hell, even the creatures of the Forbidden Forest must have heard the annoying high pitched voices singing. All ran to see where the source of the noise was and the song was also quite intriguing.
"Then come Draco and Hermione with a BABY'S CARRIAGE!
The tree was completely surrounded at this point. Many students, along with Professor Sprout and Hagrid were standing right beneath the tree, watching the red-faced occupants of it high above.
The song started repeating itself.
"Draco and Hermione sitting in a tree..."
But Draco had had enough of sneaking around. In fact, he was glad they were caught so he pulled Hermione back to him in a kiss.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G…"
