The way things are
A brown haired boy in a blue shirt and kaki pants was waking on his hands in front of a girl of similar appearance in hot pants. He tries to balance on one had manages for a instant then topples over in a heap. The girl sighs and walks away.
See that body in the ground? I'm almost sorry to say that's me, Van. I don't usually try to walk on my hands like that I was just trying to get a laugh out of the girl who just walked away. That's Eile My twin sister. She happens to be way too serious. She doesn't even consider us to be twins despite the fact that we were built at the same time, by the same person, using the same plans, and activated simultaneously. Did I happen to mention we were reploids? We happen to be special reploids made out of "living metal" according to Doc. Don't ask me what that is Doc tried to explain it to us when we were first activated, but he was speaking in techno babble so heavy that even the great Dr. Light wouldn't be able to understand him.
A long bond haired man in red waked up to Van as he stared dazed up at the sky. He shifted the books he was carrying into one arm. Using his how freed up arm he adjusted his small glasses and looked down at the boy.
"You know funny isn't going to work on that tomboy", he said adding, "If she's a girl bot at all not a male suffering from a voice matrix glitch."
That's Zen he the librarian, school teacher and resident historian. I don't think I've ever seen him with out a book or a mug of tea in his had. Some of the kids call him Mr. Teacup behind his back. He's a reploid who's been living here as long as anyone human or bot can remember. For some on who'll tell you everything about Megaman's life he doesn't like to talk much about his own. He's pretty even tempered can be a bit stern at times but boy does he like to push Eile's buttons. When Doc first introduced us to him he took great joy in asking if Eile was a girl or boy robot. She got mad pulled out her buster and chased him of the lab. I have to say using a met hat as a shield was probably the only thing that kept him alive. I think he's got a bit of death wish.
Zen nearly spat the tea he'd been drinking all over Van's paper. "Death wish?", he muttered. From some where out side he heard the discharge of a level 3 buster shot.
"You said what about me in you homework!", Screamed a voice that could have only belonged to one girl. Zen leaded over and looked at the window sure enough Eile was trying to gun down Van. The next generation of heroes, he thought. I'm going to have my work cut out for me. Maybe it would be a good idea to get my shield boomerang fixed. There's not always going to be a random met around.
