As soon as Drake & Josh arrived home their mother was sitting on the sofa with tears in her eyes.They could tell their was something terribly wrong but what could it be?She was sitting with a box of tissues Walter was crying too.He tried to hide it from the two of them.But they knew something was wrong.It wouldn't be forgotten that easily.

Audrey said:Drake josh.Can you tell Megan to come down here?

Drake sighed and said:Yes mom.The boys walked into the hallway and knocked on her door curious if she had a trap planned for the two of them again.

Drake said:Megan mom wants us in the living room now.

Megan said:For what?

Josh said:She wouldn't tell us.

Megan said:If it's something they think i did.I haven't done anything.

Drake said:What did you do know megan?

Josh sighed and said:It's not important now.

Megan said:Yup.

They walked in the living room to find Audrey and walter still crying but not as much.

Josh said:Dad what's wrong?

Drake said:Is it something i did?

Audrey said:No honey it's nothing you all have done.It's just.You know how i've been feeling sick these past few weeks?

Drake said:Yes.

Megan said:Yes but i thought it was just the flu.

Josh said:What is it?

Walter said:Should i tell them or you audrey?

Audrey said:I'll tell them.The doctor thinks i could have cancer.

Drake said:No no you can't have cancer.They don't know anything their always wrong.

Megan said:Mom your not going to die are you?

Audrey started crying again and hugged Megan.

Josh said:Oh my god.This can't be true you can't have cancer.

Drake said:It isn't she doesn't have cancer.

Josh said:Are the doctors sure?

Audrey said:Their not entirelly sure but i think they know what their talking about so if i do than we'll get through it.

Drake said:How?I'm going over Ethane's call me to come home.

Walter said:Drake we're supposed to be talking this through.

Drake said:I can't.

Walter said:Well at least let me drive you over there an pick you up.

Drake said:Fine then slammed the door.

Walter picked up his car keys and walked outside.

Audrey saud:He's taking this hard.

Megan said:I think you'll be okay mom you can get through anything.You always do.She smiled.

Josh said:He'll talk when he's ready.So what cancer do theythink you have?Josh was afraid to ask.

Audrey said:Ovarion cancer.

Cancer the words stung how could it be cancer?It had to of been a terrible mistake?That's all there was to it.It wsn't true it couldn't be.

Drake slammed the door and sat in silence.

Walter said:Drake?Calm down.

Drake said:How can i calm down when she might have.He stopped speaking.

Walter said:They aren't for sure yet.

Drake said:How long till we know?

Walter said:A few months.

Drake said:A few months?

Walter said:Yes it's all we can do.

Drake sighed.
