In the beginning there was Senna and high school; both pretty damn effective blockers, in your opinion. Senna, because she was your girlfriend and Christopher's ex-girlfriend and slightly scary, and high school, because you didn't come out in high school. You just didn't. Not if you had even the tiniest sense of self-preservation. Not if you were all ready teetering on the edge of a destructive suicide. Certainly not if you were David Levin, and he was Christopher Hitchcock. There's looking for trouble, and then there's asking for it. He'd all ready broken your nose; why would you let him break your heart?
