Maddie was going through new paint for the bathroom when she came across this color blue that reminded her of Danny's eyes. She sighed and looked at the color closely. She read the name out loud, "Ice Blue." It gave the impression that it was a cold color but it wasn't to Maddie. She thought of her son's eyes and remembered the first time that she saw them up close. It was about two weeks after Danny was born and her and Jack had taken him home. She had been in his room mindlessly working on an invention. He had started to cry and she had left her work and picked him up. He was not such a heavy baby, only about 6 pounds at birth, but he felt right to Maddie. She had tried to rock him back to sleep but he kept crying. She had picked up a bottle and fed it to him. At that moment he opened his eyes and showed Maddie the beauty that he had kept from her. He had looked at his mother for the first time and Maddie had been lost in the moment. Because in his eyes, the beautiful orbs of blue had presented themselves to be the bearer of his future. They showed happiness and sadness, joy and pain, success and failure, friendship and betrayal, luck and torture. They had shown her everything she needed to know. They showed openness and mystery, some secrets that he would keep to himself. All that was told to her from one little color. A deep icy blue. She looked up and saw Danny come in.

"Danny!" She called. He popped his head in and smiled.

"Hi mom, what's up?" He asked. She waved him over and he sat down.

"I need your opinion on something." She said.

"Okay, what is it?" Maddie pushed the papers over to Danny who looked at them.

"What do you think of that color in the bathroom?" She asked pointing to the icy blue color. He looked at the color and smiled.

"I love it. It would look great," Danny said, his eyes flashing a sign of happiness. Maddie smiled and gave Danny a kiss.

"Thank you sweetie." Danny scowled and rubbed the kiss off. He smiled at his mother and started to go upstairs until his ghost sense went off. His mother and father were already out the door when he screamed, "Goin' Ghost!" and the rings changed his clothes into a black and white jumpsuit with the initials 'DP' on them. His hair changed to white. His skin tanned slightly.

And his icy blue eyes changed to a glowing green.

He flew after his parents looking for a good fight.
