Chapter-One

Olivia's point of view

I look around the dark empty squad room. Elliot left about five hours ago to pick up the twins. It was his weekend with them. Fin and munch left to go home not to long after Elliot left. In addition, Cragen, I think he left two hours ago. Everyone else left at eight PM. I look at my watch. It is now 12AM. It isn't as if I am goanna get any sleep anyways. Every night it is the same. I go home shower and read and then I get a call when I finally get to sleep. The phone rings bringing me out of my thoughts. I pick up my cell phone and answer it.

"Benson." She answered.

"Come out to play." A raspy voice said and then he hung up.

I look at the phone and I just close it. Probably a prank call, time is going by so slowly. Three hours later, I finally give up. I get up and gather my coat and bag. I turn the lamp on my desk off. I am tried and all I want to do is go to bed and sleep. I do not feel like walking or anything. I get out side and I take a deep breath of the New York City smell.

I start walking down the sidewalk. Elliot and I have not been very close for a while. We have been oh how do I put it? Distant, we barely talk anymore since his divorce which may I remind you a year ago! I do not know that, maybe our time is done; maybe we need a new partner. I love him as a brother, but I cannot just not talk to him! I tried and tried, but he will not laugh or anything!

Oh well, tomorrow will be another day of cranky Stabler. Actually there have been some things being said behind his back. He earned a new nickname. It is Un-Stabler. I had nothing to do with it! Hope he does not find out about it. I wish we were like our old selves again. When we played around and teased each other. Thirty second Ave, oh wait I was suppose to turn left three blocks ago.

You see I have been off lately; I turn around and start to walk back to my apartment. I pass a dark ally and I keep on walking. I went to get my keys in my pocket, but I feel a sharp pain in the back of my neck and I fall. My head hit the ground first and now I can see blackness coming over me.
