Hermione,
Ron and Ginny were walking down the quiet hallway on the 3rd floor.
The only sound was their shuffling feet and Ron's loud breathing. It
was very squishy and not much room for three people inside Harry's
invisibility cloak.
"OW, BLOODY HELL!" Ron cried as he
stabbed his toe on something sharp. Hermione tried to cover his mouth
to stop him from ranting, but it was too late. The next thing they
knew, a soft footsteps could be heard coming down the hall. Ginny
dragged them into a nearby classroom.
It was pitch black.
They had their ears pressed against the door, listening as the
footsteps came closer...
and closer...
and closer...
"Meow!"
Mrs Norris cried, trying to get Filch's attention.
"What is
it now? I bet it's Peeves throwing furniture at the students again.
I'll catch him red handed this time!" Filch growled with
contempt. Then the footsteps slowly drifted off into the
night.
"Phew, that was close!" Ron gasped, having
held his breath the whole time.
"Yeah, too close" Ginny
agreed. They shrugged the invisibility cloak off. Ron grabbed his
wand out and muttered "Lumos" as a spark of light appeared
from the end of his wand. Hermione and Ginny sat by the door unable
to move, as Ron looked around the deserted classroom.
"Um
Guys...what the bloody hell is that!" Ron spluttered. The two
girls turned around slowly, expecting the worst, when Hermione's face
suddenly brightened.
"It's the mirror of Erised."
Hermione stated, as if it wasn't perfectly obvious it was.
"What's
the mirror of Erised?" Ron asked stupidly.
"Whenever
someone looks in this mirror, they will see the most deepest and
desperate desires of their heart." Hermione stated in her prissy
no-nonsense voice, sounding a lot like Dumbledore in "The
philosophers stone".
"Cool! Let me try!" Ron
cried enthusiastically. He stepped toward the mirror and
gasped.
"Bloody Hell! I'm holding the quidditch cup, and I'm
the quidditch captain too! I look good!" Ron spluttered. Now why
does that sentence sound soo familiar?
"Oh honestly Ron!
It isn't real." Hermione mumbled as she stepped towards the
mirror.
"Oh wow! I'm the new minister for magic! That's
amazing!" Hermione shreaked, as Ron rolled his eyes.
"Your
turn sis." Ron said, turning towards Ginny. Ginny stepped
towards the mirror. "Oh, I hope I see Harry in the mirror!"
Ginny had fancied Harry for a very long time and wiched he would go
out with her. She stared into the mirror. Before her eyes, she saw an
older version of herself standing in front of an expensive house.
There were two children running around her and...Draco
Malfoy!
"MERLIN!" Ginny cried. Draco had been one of
Ginny's crushes for a while, but never thought he would fancy her
back. In this picture, Draco looked about the same as he was now,
except that he looked older and more toned. His hair wasn't plastered
to the back of his head as usual, but was in flowing waves down his
face.
"And he has got a Very nice arse." Ginny thought,
absolutely entranced.
"Who's got a nice arse?" Ron asked
in his protective brother manner.
OH FUCK!
