Always expect the unexpected. Yet even with that in mind, Edmund still didn't expect the sight of a woman, slouched and weakened in the middle of the enclosed room. With a whisper of disbelief, Edmund calls and there he once again gazed at the startling crystalline eyes of his wife.

Originally published on my Wattpad, thewisequeen. My OC, Gabriella, is placed in Narnia at the beginning of the events of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. She travels with the Pevensies in their adventures through the Golden Age. The first eleven chapters cover the book and are written in the same style that C.S. Lewis writes in but after that it's first person POV in my style.

On a return boat journey from Narnia, prince Cor and lady Aravis are in the middle of a massive argument about who is better than who when they are washed overboard in a storm. By morning, Cor and Aravis find themselves stranded on an island with only each other for company.

"You're no fine lady, that's for sure. Bold too, considering who he is." Addie arches an eyebrow. "Oh? Who is he?"

Once it becomes clear that the White Witch's reign is over, but that the Galman Duchy does not get first option to rule Narnia, Magnis, the Duke of Galma begins his long term strategy to do just that. Set in the early part of the Golden Age, these chapters set the scene for what is to come in "Polly and Digory Return".
