Chapter 1
Kira rubbed her eyes as she walked down the stairs from her room. She yawned and pulled open the fridge, grabbing out a thing off milk. The breeze fro the door as she closed it caused her long black hair to flow backwards as she shivered in her long night shirt. She poured some into a cup and took a sip. She sighed putting the cup down and put her head on her left hand and looked at the clock. Her eyes grew wide as she jumped up from the table, almost knocking over the glass of milk. "Oh, no! I'm going to be late!"
Kira ran up the stairs and jumped at the nearest box. She threw stuff out until she finally found what she was looking for. She pulled out a small black top and a pair of black shorts with a royal blue long skirt attached to the back. She pulled her night shirt over her head and left it on the floor. She slid on the small black top. It went around her neck and criss-crossed in the back. It was also really tight in the cheast and ended a little above her belly button. Next she put on the "short/skirt" and grabbed a hairbrush from the floor. She brushed through it until she was sure that all the knots were gone. She then reached onto a small dresser and grabbed a headband that the hokage had given her when she moved in yesterday. She took it and tied it on top of her head, grabbing a pouch and knap-sack as she moved towards the door. She quickly put on her shoes and threw the knap-sack over her shoulder and attached the pouch to her side. She closed the door behind her as she left.
She ran down the street, going over the directions in her head when she suddenly bumped into someone and fell to the ground. Oww… She looked up as the guy she had run into turned around. He had raven black hair and a calm and different air about him. His hands were in his pockets and he was wearing the same kind of head band as her. She stood up and dusted herself off. "Sorry." She said, watching his expression. She smiled "I'm Kira. I just moved here and I'm supposed to go to the academy to get assigned to a squad." She looked to the side and back again. "Could you tell me how to get there?"
The boy let out a sigh and turned around. "It's this way.." He started walking down the road. Kira went after him and walked beside him. "You know, I never caught your name?" She asked smiling. He just stared ahead and said quietly "Sasuke."
"Hmm… Cool name. So how long do we have until we have to be there? Aren't we late?"
"We still have an hour before class."
THAT LONG! "Oh. Okay…"
