Watching the Sunset Together…
"What is love?" The question Lust, an artificial human, a Homunculus, kept asking herself as she often see couples watching the sunset together. "What is love?"
She was at the back alley of the modern metropolis, Central. She was very old, but with the advantage of being an artificial human, she'd retain her beauty even in a thousand years' time.
She didn't like to be an artificial human like she had a choice!; but she deeply desired to be a human, a person who lives and dies, a person who does not retain beauty un a hundred or thousand years. A person who has a heart and could be loved by somebody.
Then suddenly, another Homunculus, Envy came to the scene.
"Whatcha doin', Lust?" Envy said to the other with his usual comical tone of voice.
"Oh… nothing. Just thinking of something."
"What are you thinking about?" Envy said as he changed his smile into a very curious-looking and peculiar face look.
"I won't tell you…"
"Oh come on! For Heaven's sake! Tell me!" Envy, again, shifting his look into a slightly angered glare.
"I was thinking of love! Nobody loves me! Nobody ever cares for me! Nobody even takes me to watch the sunset!" Lust said as she was reduced to tears.
"I hadn't an idea… but I love you! Oh, shit! I'm so damn stupid! I hadn't told you that I love you because I'm afraid of rejection! I loved you ever since that man failed to revive you!" Said Envy as he rejoiced and his conscience cleared.
Envy took hold of Lust's hand and pulled her as they were running. Expecting to be brought to the beach to watch the sunset together, he pulled her towards the direction of a very high building, still, near the beach. They could see the golden sky shine brightly with its golden beams of light and then as Envy opened his mouth in astonishment, Lust, at the same time, landed a kiss on the other's lips.
I'm telling this again, pls. review!
