A story where Subaru is born in Japan in the sonic universe. This version of Subaru is the reincarnation of Sonic and Shadow. He'll be a G.U.N. agent and free spirited as well. He'll be smart and he'll have his own gear. He'll have Sonic's speed and Shadow's chaos abilities. And overall he'll have the chaos emeralds with him. So he's pretty much power incarnate.

Confronted with a world where his arrival is expected—where the Dragon gives a prophecy, just for him, how would this dream unfold? Subaru knows a heroes' journey is never easy - full of trials and hardship - and decided that he is content with his life on earth. But after being sent to Lagunica against his wishes, and granted a cheat-like power he never asked for, Subaru makes it clear he doesn't want an adventure - he just wants to be left alone and to eat a good meal. This is a story where Subaru, betrayed and forgotten by his comrades, is tossed into an abyss while on fire to his new life, a life filled with challenges, hardships, and struggle, but also a life.. where he is no longer the weak one needing protection, but instead the one who protects, the one named "The Burned Man".

In the Wrath If story, Subaru ran away after Rem died by the curse and hadn't returned back to Roswaal's manor for two years to exact his revenge. During that time, Subaru killed Beatrice to finally put her to rest. What if instead of two years, it only had been one? And instead of returning to the manor to exact revenge, he only returned to understand why Beatrice helped him.

The mind is an imperfect thing, something that is fragile and can easily be overwritten or changed. Yet even when the mind is made to forget, the heart never truly does, holding onto the emotions that it felt even when the mind forgets, and for a certain group of individuals, the heart can never forget impact that one person had on them.

Subaru always turned a blind eye to everything so nothing would break. The story was too fragile. He's not sure if that's what he wants anymore. This choice requires him to use every bit of his determination to be satisfied. And that will change everything. Everyone underestimated him. Even the Witch who saw his mind. Even the Witch who has his life. Not a Sage. Not a Witch. Human.

A Re:Forgotten spin off. After the Emilia camp returned from their adventures in the Sage's Tower, they find Subaru's lifeless form, thanks to an untimely visit from the witch, she gives them a chance to save him, shall they succeed? Or will they forsake the boy to a horrible fate? Notes: AU, this fic would take on a different set of rules of the world of Re:Zero for the plot...

Subaru finds himself back in the land of Japan, only this time he isn't alone. One way or another Rem was dragged back with him giving him little choice but to find a way back to Lugnica. With nothing but his wits he knows it wont be easy and he has a lot of his own past to face. This story takes place directly after the events of Season 2.
