Intro: AU drabbles. Cagalli is not with Athrun now. They don't love each other anymore.
Title: Not him
Cagalli Yula Athha does not think she has any love left for Athrun Zala. They had been separated for a year and she has met a man who loved her for who she was, never thinking of her as a leader of Orb. Namayo Kenshin had worked hard in his work as her secretary and body guard, risking his life in many situations where her life would be endangered.
He was a source of her comfort in any adverse situations with her handling of international affairs. Athrun Zala was never her source of comfort after the outbreak of the second war. And she came to realise that all the feelings she had for Patrick Zala's son was of crush and first love, not as pure as her source of emotional feelings towards Namayo Kenshin.
He relieves her of her pain of having no one to pin for. He comforts her when she's down.
In a few months time, she would marry the guy. Just the same as Athrun Zala marrying Meyrin Hawke to thank her for all those years of staying faithful in him and loving him too, she would marry the guy who paid attention to her almost every need in body and mind.
So even if they had the tiniest of love evident in their blood towards each other, fate sometimes just cannot save them from the brink of heart pain forever.
