House and Cameron looked at each other across the desk. Slowly Cameron stood and walked around to his side of the desk. He watched her every move with a slight smile playing on his lips. She perched on the edge of his desk and started rifling through his mail. House watched as she piled it into two piles: junk mail and interesting. His gaze from the mail to her hands, to her lips that he so wanted to kiss.
"Can you pass me that letter-opener?" She said gesturing towards the object lying near his I-Pod. He shrugged and picked up his Gameboy.
"I'm busy, can't you just get it?" He replied with a smirk on his face as he started playing a game. Cameron pouted then she smiled and leant across the desk. House's attention went from the game on his Gameboy to Cameron. Or more specifically Cameron's cleavage. She looked across at him and smirked when she saw his expression. She straightened up and saw the moment when he mentally shook himself.
"I got it." She said twirling it in her fingers. A series of beeps came from his Gameboy then…'Game Over'. A little mechanical voice sounded.
"Damn! Level 42!" He said and threw it back onto his desk. She smiled at him.
"Sorry, did I distract you?" She said innocently. He glared at her with those blue eyes.
"I guess you'll just have to make it up to me. Won't you?" He said and reached for his cane. She shrugged and jumped off his desk. He stood and followed her only when she stopped he carried on so he was level with her. She turned slowly to face him. He stepped forward, she stepped backwards. He stepped forward a few more times making her retreat until her back was pressed up against the wall. She felt his warm breath across her cheek. He reached up a hand to brush away a few loose strands of hair that had fallen across her eyes. He heard her take a sharp intake of breath at the touch of his skin against hers. He smiled.
"Not so cocky when the situation is reversed, are you?" He said watching her. Her breath came out as a shudder drawing his attention down. His smile disappeared as his gaze returned to her face. He lowered his face his face to hers and placed a kiss on her lips. He drew away and waited for a reaction. She rose on her tiptoes and returned the favour. The kiss was tentative and then turned more passionate. House ran his hands up her body and rested them on her hips. She wrapped her arms round his neck and leant into him. When they drew apart neither moved their hands, but just stood there together as if they were the only two people in the world. She looked at him closely.
"Was that just revenge? Or was it more?" Uncertainty crept into her voice. He looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"Okay, if that was revenge, what's this?" He said and leant forwards and kissed her again. When he finished the kiss she still had her doubts.
"But what if people find out? What will we say?" She said worriedly. He smiled and brushed a few strands of hair away again.
"Don't worry about it. We'll deal with that when we get there. D'ya want go get some coffee?" He said and without waiting for an answer started walking towards the door holding her hand. He opened the door and stepped out, walking straight into Cuddy.
"Doctor Lisa Cuddy. What can I do for you this fine, glorious, sunny, morning?" He said over the noise of the rain hitting the roof. She rolled her eyes and answered.
"First of all, don't call me by my first name, Gregory. Secondly, would you kindly not make out with a member of staff in your office?" She said and smiled at him.
"Oh my God. Dr. Cuddy am I to take this as proof you have been spying on me?" He said. Cameron looked shocked and looked back at the office.
"Gregory House, for someone as smart as you, you'd think you'd remember you have an office with glass walls!"
