Heartbeat
Winry Rockbell sat in a chair near her windowsill, waiting, as always.
This was how it always was, so why should it be any different? She always had waited for him, no matter what. But this time, it was different.
She knew he wouldn't come back again though. And even if he did, why would he care for her? She knew he loved Rosé. So what was the point in waiting forever?
But that was just it. There was no point to it. But even if Ed loved Rosé, Winry had still loved him, even if his interests were in a different woman.
Because no matter what, he heart would still beat only for the one and only, Edward Elric.
