(A/N: Sorry it's short, its a bit rushed. I'm trying to make a deadline for someone. Hope you like it.)

Prologue: Astral Dance

The moon shone bright in the night sky, glowing to a soft tune in the background. Dazzling stars littered the dark expanse above, each point contributing to the overall glow of the heavens.

Five teenagers, sitting on a grassy plain gazed up at the scenery before them, their eyes reflecting the sight above. One stood up, a flute in his hand. He put the instrument to his lips and filled the emptiness around them with sweet music. High tones and low tones were blown from the flute, each subtlety linked together and dancing around the camp fire. It was such a calming melody. The song played inside the children's heads, coaxing them to shut their eyes and let their bodies lie on the now soft grass under them.

One of the two girls yawned and placed her arms around the guy beside her. In turn, he put a protective arm around her frame, keeping her warm from the cold night's wind. And they slept like this, smiles on their faces.

The other couple sat back to back, knees to their chests in an effort to stay awake. The girl shivered because of the wind that was passing through, and the guy felt her shaking. He turned his head in her direction to check on her.

"You alright there?" he said in a soft whisper.

"Of course I am. Just a little c-cold…" she said through a yawn and gritted teeth. He smirked. Always the proud one, he thought. The guy took off his jacket and placed it around the person behind him, with a small smile playing on his lips. It took a few seconds for her to register what he did for her, but eventually she shyly looked at him.

"Thanks…" her voice was barely audible now.

"Anytime princess…" he yawned and lay down on the grass. The girl followed and let her head rest on his chest. She turned her head towards his and blushed. He lay on his side, taking the girl into his strong arms, while she cuddled against him. They stayed in each other's warmth throughout the night.

All the while the flute played its mystical tone. It sped up for a few seconds but eventually slowed down again, calming everything around on the ground and in the sky. The moon seemed tranquil and followed the rhythmic sounds of the flute through its many sparkles. The stars themselves twinkled and danced with the simple melody that played. As the climax of the piece approached, the glowing intensified and the sky seemed to be on fire with the many sparks that flew around.

After a few moments, the stars slowed down, along with the beating of the moon. Soon the flute stopped its music. The man grasped the instrument in his right hand, placing it in a special pocket in his shirt. With this he decided to return to camp, where his friends lay asleep. As he shut his eyes, he felt a tremor run through. Then another.

He braced himself. There, basking in the moon's glow was a figure that haunted his every dream.

"No…" he moaned.

With each step the figure took, the earth shook. As it grew closer, its massive arm reached for its weapon attached to its back. A colossal axe was now held by this giant. The man stood there stunned, his feet stuck to the ground in fear. Even his voiced failed him as he tried to wake up his companions.

All is lost now.

Now you know why it's short. It's a prologue :D More to come I swear
