"Cagalli, you should take a break," he stated. "You're stressing yourself out."

Cagalli looked up at him, then at the stack of paperwork and documents on her desk, "No," she sighed, "I just have... a little more paperwork to do."

He frowned, "By little, you mean," he picked up the stack of work, "More then three hundred papers?"

"...I'm going through midlife crisis at the age of twenty-one." Cagalli gave a little laugh, the thought was amusing.

Athrun chuckled, "Exactly why you should go out and get some fresh air. Staying in here isn't helping you." he looked around the office. There was one window. The room was white and the carpet was gray. There was a white cabinet in a corner, and the other three corners were plain. There was Cagalli's desk, with the huge stack of papers on it. Cagalli's chair behind the desk, and two other chairs in front of it. The place reminded him of a clinic, a really plain clinic.

Cagalli eyed Athrun, "If I were to agree to go out with you, where would we go?"

Athrun smiled, "Dinner. I know you're hungry."

"Am not."

"Yes, you are."

"What makes you think I'm hungry?" she raised an eyebrow.

He gave her a small smile, "Because you haven't eaten breakfast or lunch, and you didn't eat last night."

Cagalli paused before she began denying that she hadn't eaten, "How would you know?"

"You haven't left this office since yesterday night." he said bluntly.

She crossed her arms over her chest and gave him a death glare. Hopefully she was intimidating him.

"... I'll... let you pick what we eat." Athrun smiled.

She guessed the glare didn't work.

Cagalli sighed and closed her eyes. She was hungry, she couldn't fight that fact. She reopened her honey coloured eyes and looked straight into Athrun's emerald green orbs. She scrunched up her nose. She hated giving in... but, she couldn't help the smile tugging on her lips. "Mexican." she stated.

Athrun nodded, "I'll be waiting in the car." he said and walked out of the room, shutting the door softly behind him.

Cagalli smiled softly at the door and stared at the ring on her left hand. 'Athrun... you're just the motivation I need.' she thought. She decided she'd relax for a while. Sometimes a short break was needed.

One thought was on her mind as she stood up from her seat. One thing to make clear. "I'm driving." she said quietly to herself and grabbed her jacket, leaving the room and the stack of papers behind.
