The Wraith are defeated, Atlantis has returned to the Pegasus Galaxy, and Earth is stronger than ever. However, victory and being on top come new challenges and dilemmas. After returning to the Pegasus galaxy, John is annoyed to find out that Woolsey wants his team to re-establish contact with the Athosians. After a frustrating day on New Athos, things go incredibly wrong for John and Teyla when on their way home they come across a strange anomaly. Things get worse when they are sucked into the anomaly and find themselves on a strange planet.
