Mrs. Garrett, Natalie, Blair, and Tootie arrive at the hospital.
Mrs. G: (to the nurse at the nurses station) Jo Polniaczek
Nurse: She is till in the emergency room are you Edna Garrett?
Mrs. G: yes
Nurse: I'll tell the doctor that you're here you can take a seat in the waiting room
Mrs. G: Thank you
They go into the waiting room. 15 minutes later. The Nurse comes in.
Nurse: Jo Polniaczek
Mrs. G: (stands up) right here
Nurse: the doctor said that it will be a few more hours
Mrs. G: when can we see her?
Nurse: after the operation
3 hours later. A nurse comes in. they are the only ones in the waiting room
Nurse: Jo Polniaczek
Mrs. Garrett, Blair, Natalie and Tootie look up.
Nurse: Jo is out of surgery
Tootie: when can we see her?
Nurse: now she is down the hall in room 242 check in at the nurse's station first
Blair: thank you
They walk up to the Nurse's station
Natalie: Hi we're here to see Jo Polniaczek
Nurse: Alright but before you do let me tell you about her condition. She was in an accident, and was hit by a car in front of the country club. There was a lot of internal bleeding, her left collar bone is broken, and her right knee is shattered. Also her right led is broken in to other places and she is in a coma. She is hook on to machines and IVs.
By now everyone was crying.
Nurse: now please the doctor is not sure when she will wake up, probably not for a few days. But when you go in there I want you to try not to cry. I she does wake up now and she see her friends crying that will make her upset. If you fell if you will cry please step out side. Everyone understands?
They nod.
Nurse: good (she shows them to Jo's room)
