These types of visits lasted for a couple of weeks. Everyone would go see Jo, talk to her fill her in on any gossip just like if she was just home sick with a cold. One day Tootie had a meeting with the dram club, Natalie was at home working on an article for the school paper, and Mrs. Garrett had a meeting with Mr. Parker. Blair was sitting with Jo holding her hand and talking. It had been two weeks since the accident. They still couldn't get a hold of Harrison. Blair was starting to lose faith but never stopped praying and hoping.

Blair: Oh Jo I wish you would wake up. Just give me a sign that you're going to be okay.

Just then Blair felt something.

Blair: Jo? did you just squeeze my hand?

Again she felt a squeeze a her hand

Blair: Nurse, Nurse come quick! I think she's waking up!

A nurse and a doctor rush in

Nurse: What?

Blair: She squeezed my hand

Jo's eyes slowly started to lift open

Doctor (to Blair): Can you wait outside a minute I just going to look over her

Jo: (in a weak, worried, whisper voice) Blair, Blair wait where are you going?

Blair: don't worry Jo I'll be right out side the nice doctor an d nurse will take care of you

Blair gives doctor and nurse her best you-better-take-good-care-of-her looks.

15 minutes later the Doctor and nurse comes out and allows her to see Jo.

Jo: hey Blair

Blair: hey Jo, how you felling

Jo: I've had better days

Blair: I could imagine, but thank God you are alive. Jo can I ask you a question?

Jo: (weak voice) Sure

Blair: do you remember anything from the night with Harrison?

Just then the door flew open. Mrs. Garrett, Natalie and Tootie come running in.

Mrs. Garrett: Jo

Tootie: You're alive

Natalie: Thank goodness

Jo: (Smiles) (weak voice) hi everybody (Turns back to Blair)

Jo: yes Blair I remember everything. When we got to the country Club, Harrison took my hand and led me through the club, out the back door and onto the nice dark green.

Mrs. Gt: Oh my

Jo: Before I new it he was pushing me into a sand trap saying relax get comfortable. When I finally realized what was happening I punched him in the stomach and ran off I just ran back through the club out the front door and into the parking lot. I wasn't paying attention and… well you know the rest.

Natalie: You me he

Tootie: (finishing for Natalie) tried to take advantage of you

Blair: I'll kill him! How Dare he do this where is he! That coward hideing from the phone when ever we try to call!

Jo: hey Blair chill (touching her arm) I already took care of him

Blair: yeah but I didn't ohhh he is going to be sorry

Jo: Blair, Blair cool it it'll be okay. Guys can we have a minute.

Mrs Garrett: sure come on girls

Jo: Why'd you get so crazy?

Blair: Jo you're my friend and no matter how much you can bug me I would never want this to happen to you

Jo: I know you told me

Blair: so you could hear me when you were in your coma

Jo nodded.

Jo: Blair if I told you something would you promise to keep it between us

Blair: of course

Jo: ok I scared

Blair: What?

Jo: What if Harrison isn't happy because he didn't get his way what if he comes back to get me

Blair: don't worry I won't leave you alone until your ready

Mrs. Garrett comes back in.

Mrs. G: you girls alright
