Mr. Harrison Andrews
Jo's hospital room, Mrs. Garrett comes in.
Mrs. G: Jo how are you? What exactly happened last night?
Jo: well he told me he wanted to get me back for making him pay for my medical bills and getting his mom to cut him off. He said he wasn't finished with me when I ran out from the party.
Natalie: you mean tried…
Tootie: to… you… again?
Blair: that dirty low down creep.
Jo: guys it's Okay now calm down the police has him now so he wont be bothering us ant more
Later that day after Mrs. Garrett, Natalie, and Tootie leave the doctor comes in.
Doctor: Miss Polniaczek we'd like to take some X-rays of your arm
Jo: can Blair come?
Doctor hesitates: Alright Miss Warner can come but she'll have to wait outside
Jo is helped into a wheel chair by the doctor, nurse and Blair.
Outside of the X-ray room
Blair: I'll be right outside here if you need me
Jo: Thanks
The doctor sets Jo up, he places her arm on the table and takes the pictures with the X-ray machine
Later that day the Doctor comes back; Blair and Jo are quizzing each other for a History test coming up
Jo: What did the Patriots dress up as during the Boston Tea Party?
Blair: You know I don't see why they had to go and waste all of that tea.
Jo: Blair they were trying to make a statement.
Blair: (pointing to a picture in the history book with the Patriots dressed as Mohawk Indians) obviously not a fashion statement.
Doctor comes in.
Doctor: Miss Polniaczek I have good news. The results of the X-ray say that your arm is completely mended. We can take it off and you can learn to use crèches.
Jo: that's great doc
Blair: when can we get the cast off?
Doctor: in a few hours
Later when the cast come off Jo is given her crèches.
Jo: theses tings are a lot harder than they look
Doctor: don't worry you'll get use to them. Now that you can crèches you will be able to go home. Of course you'll have to come back twice a week for physical therapy.
Blair: really she can come home that's great. I'll go call Mrs. Garrett!
The next day Jo is able to go home after Two and a half long months in the hospital. While Blair and Jo are on their way home Mrs. Garrett and the girls are setting up for Jo's big surprise.
Mrs. G: Hurry girls the guest are starting to arrive!
Tootie this was a great idea throwing Jo a welcome home party.
Natalie: Yeah she'll love it.
In the car Blair and Jo are pulling into the drive way. Blair helps Jo out , they walk up to the cafeteria door and…
Everyone in the lunch room: SURPRISE!
Jo is so startled that she fell backwards.
Blair catches her.
Jo: what is all this?
Tootie: It's a surprise welcome home party!
Jo: you guys did this for me?
Natalie: JO! Of course we did this for you
Blair: have you still not caught on to the fact that we'd do any for you?
Jo: thanks guys this means a lot to me
Jo noticed the stage and microphone. She wobbled over to it.
Jo: excuse me everyone can I have your attention? I want to thank you for coming to today. I also wanted to talk about something very important, Family. I grew up in a pretty tough neighborhood. Nobody ever paid attention to any one else the only people who had what might be considered a friend were the kids in a gang. I've never had friends like this be fore and I'd like to thank you for everything that you've done for me.
Jo started to tear up along with Mrs. Garrett, Blair, Natalie and Tootie.
J: I'd like to thank Mrs. G because with out her I probably would not have stuck around long enough to have such great friends.
I'd like to thank my two favorite pests Natalie and Tootie for always sticking by me (chuckles) and never leaving me alone when I told them to because they know that those were the times I needed a friend most of all.
Jo pauses.
Jo: Finally I'd like to thank my best friend Blair. (Chuckles) I know that most of you are thinking "Blair why Blair don't you hate her?" and the answer to that is no I don't hate her. Yes we have (stops to think) … disagreements but, I could never hate her. She has been by my side through this whole (stops to think again) … experience.
By this time Mrs. Garrett, Blair, Natalie and Tootie and Jo were crying but they were not sad.
Jo: Thanks so much for being such great friends.
Jo wobbles off stage and goes over to her friends.
Jo: I love you guys
They sit there hugging each over because they knew that together they could get through any thing life through at them
The End…
