The worst cases are the children. We all know that, and somehow, we all accept it. We take those cases and pour as much of our souls as we can into them. We would work for days on end to save a child. We would give up our happiness, our precious hours of sleep, to find justice for a child. We would run into a burning building, go into a deserted warehouse with the very strong possibility of getting shot or even killed, to save a child.
Because, the truth is, a child saved this world, in a way.
We're just repaying him.
And the one prayer that we all say, no matter if we believe in God or not, is one for the children.
