Loki lets go at the end of the spear. that is not how the story ends, it's how it begins. Crashing into a blue box in the space throws the young Prince to a journey of self discovery, growing and hopefully to become something more. the doctor just wants to make Loki smile again. Loki takes Clara's Place as the doctor's companion and has good/bad adventures through time and space.

As the Doctor directs his TARDIS to Amy's house, a timey-whimey problem occurs, caused by Mr. Tony Stark. The Doctor thought the Avengers were fictional, and they thought vice versa. Though this may not seem bad, universes merging is most definitely not a good thing. Post-AOU.

The Avengers have just saved the world once again and this time, one of its greatest protectors has noticed. The Doctor is happy that Earth is finally defending itself and decides to reward each avenger with a trip to where ever they want in the whole of time and space. What could possibly go wrong?
