Prologue:
"Ron's Thoughts"
He wondered how Harry and Hermione were doing. Hermione had owled Harry and him to
say hello and ask how their summers had been so far. It had been a tough year, with
Dumbledore's death. Ron still couldn't believe that Dumbledore died. He was Dumbledore, he
wasn't supposed to die. Not, with Voldemort still here. He wondered who would be the new
Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, since Snape obviously wasn't going to be teaching
anymore. He knew it was Snape… and Malfoy. But no one had listened to him. Not even Harry,
well, not really …
Ron hadn't heard from Harry as much. Hermione had said that it was probably because, with
Voldemort and the Death Eaters at large, Harry had to be very careful.
His thoughts then went to his Head Boy badge he noticed on his night table. He began to get
slightly annoyed thinking about all the duties and responsibilities he'd have now. He didn't want to
have to patrol the hallways.
Well, he figured that Hermione would be doing most of the work anyway, since she was the
Head Girl and more interested in following the rules and making sure there was order and no
chaos.
Ron then suddenly became nervous. He realized that he would have to be spending more time
with Hermione - just the two of them …
"Wait a bloody minute - why am I nervous? It's just Hermione … " he thought to himself.
Ron yawned and climbed into his bed, suddenly sleepy. He looked at his clock: 3:00AM. He
should sleep since he had a long day ahead of him.
A/N: heyy..that's the beginning so far…im still finishing up the rest of the prologue.. "Hermione's Thoughts" and 'Harry's Thoughts". ..thought it would be good to let you readers know what main things are on their minds before they go to school..like what's bothering them and such.
Well..ill post that as soon as I can.
