This is my newest fanfic. I've been totally obsessed with this book since I first read it, and have read it more than 10 times since. Having started to actually speak the ancient language as a hobby, I'm hoping this will not only help polish my writing skills, but my ancient language speaking skills as well. This is a continuation of my original story Tragedy's Fate. Do not read if you have not read Tragedy's Fate as Shadow Wars contains spoilers for Tragedy's Fate.

What if defeating Galbatorix came at a cost.
