Partings are inevitable in the world for all its denizens, be it elf, human or dwarf. The living spirit is exhibited by all beings as the will to survive, as they overcome all pain and suffering to achieve their goals. Both partings and the struggle to survive change people, but certain traits are always the same in everyone, binding them all. Post Inheritance.

As requested this story is now a work in progress. As the Blood-oath Celebration draws ever nearer, Eragon struggles to create a piece which his apprentice Kaira can deliver to the elves; meanwhile Arya longs for the other half of her soul.

Set after book four (Inheritance). A shadow is growing in Alagaësia. Lead Rider Eragon must return to his homeland as new enemies rise and old ones return. Rating M for violence, gore and stuff. White Fang and Bid'daum have lots of clutches of eggs, but then when one egg wouldn't hatch they waited years waiting. But then Eragon and Bid'daum left for their journey. I am a big fan of the Inheritance Cycle, however have often been distraught at the lack of some character development on the part of the main characters. This is a fun, lighthearted spin of the Inheritance Cycle through the eyes of it's starring character: Eragon.
