The Aeons
"Yuna," a voice inside my head called, "Yuna, come here."
Suddenly, I materialized and so did a path with only a single way – its end was lit by a blinding white light. I was curious about the light so I went down the path. There I saw a very blue lady. I could obviously say that she was something related to an ice queen. "Yuna," I suddenly recalled that voice – it was Shiva.
"Where am I? How did I come here?" I asked her. She was smiling and staring at me. "You're in the land of the Aeons. This place is situated near the Farplane. In here, Aeons are granted powers that we cannot obtain if we are always summoned by human beings. These powers are used to grant a special wish to one person, the summoner of the Aeon. You are my summoner, I will grant you a special wish. What is it, my summoner?"
"I want to be with Tidus again, for eternity."
"I am afraid that wishes cannot shape new lives. Tidus is only a dream, a dream of a fayth. I am afraid to tell you that you cannot be with Tidus again."
"Shiva, have you forgotten?" A very hoarse voice at the back of her said, "that lives can still be converted into dreams." It was Ifrit, the red hot demon.
"But I am afraid that only the Magus Sisters, Penance and Anima can grant that wish." Shiva added.
"But," Yuna started, "where are those three Magus Sisters and Penance and Anima?"
Shiva and Ifrit let out a short laugh.
"Yuna, the Magus Sisters now lives at the Macalania Woods as well as Penance but Anima is still at the pits of Hell, suffering."
"How can we reach the Magus Sisters? They are my friends."
"Dear me! The trio became evil hundreds of years ago. Penance and Anima are still evil. But – Yojimbo! My old friend! He now lives at the Cave of Ages at the eastern end of this land. You can take Ixion with you.
"Goodbye, Yuna." Shiva and Ifrit waved goodbye. I was riding the thunder horse, Ixion, it was not a long travel to that cave. It was not a deep cave either, no Tonberrys or Cactuars were finding fights, and as little as two minutes, I reached Yojimbo.
"Adventurer, what do you seek?" he asked.
"I want to revive Tidus, the one with the big sword, you know…"
"You cannot revive him, but you can go to him but once you did that, you cannot return to Spira. You must first be killed then be dreamed by the fayths that lie beneath this cave.
"I am ready. As I said before, I would do anyting for him."
"But first, you must pay 500,000 gils."
"He's still Yojimbo" I thought.
"Here's the money."
"Are you sure you want to do it"
"Yes"
"Hyahh!" he tore my head from my body. I felt no pain. I was soaring up, I think it was my soul. Little people, I saw, slept, and at the next moment, I was beside Tidus, at the beach.
And at once, I rejoiced even after my deathbed.
