Song: The Funeral of Hearts by Him

Sark shot down 2 of the guards at the cathedral. Their blood splattered into the angels eyes and he couldn't help but think how poetic the gesture was. They cried blood.

Love's the funeral of hearts

And an ode for cruelty

When angels cry blood

On flowers of evil bloom

Sydney rounded the corner and immediately saw her enemy on a killing spree. He pointed his gun at her and she froze.

The funeral of hearts

And a plea for mercy

When love is a gun

Separating me from you

"Ms Bristow, I was wondering when you would make an appearance." He slowly approached her.

"I'm sorry I was late but I had some lackeys to take care of"

Sark smirked before grabbing her and whispering into her ear "Don't come looking" he then broke the comm. and pulled Sydney along the hallways.

She was the sun

Shining upon

The tomb of your hopes and dreams so frail

He was the moon

Painting you

With its glow so vulnerable and pale

They made it to the van. "Sydney, why do you have to struggle?"

"Why do you have to grab me?" They sat together quietley as the driver drove them off. Sark moved closer.

"Stop" she warned him.

He smirked. "Is it because of your precious married Vaughn?" she punched him. Hard.

"I warned you"

Another smirk.

"I hadn't though you had lost your heart already"

"I haven't" her mask didn't slip but he always saw past it.

"Liar. Then again who am I to say so?" Smirk.

"Shut…" but before she could finish the sentence the gun was pointed towards her again.

The funeral of hearts

And a plea for mercy

When love is a gun

Separating me from you

"Speak now or forever hold your peace"

"I can't…loving someone is too hard. It's easier to hate. He was supposed to be the one. He wasn't supposed to hurt me." A solitary tear ran down her face, Sark wiped it away and looked into her beautiful brown eyes.

"I won't hurt you" he kissed her and she didn't protest. The kiss became more passionate.

She was the wind, carrying on

All the troubles and fears here for years tried to forget

He was the fire, restless and wild

And you were like a moth to a flame

They finally broke apart for air and remained silent.

"Do you regret that?" she shook her head. "I thought it was easier to hare then love"

It is. I don't love you"

"And neither do I" but their eyes told a different story. Love filled they hearts and they kissed again.

They heretic seal beyond divine

Pray to God who's deaf and blind

The last night's the soul's on fire

Three little words and a question why

They finally arrived at a mansion and Sark smiled. This made Sydney smile and so they stood staring at the magnificent building.

"Welcome to paradise" he took her by the hand and they walked inside.

Love's the funeral of hearts

And an ode for cruelty

When angels cry blood

Inside was exactly like a castle. When Sydney was younger she had always imagined what one would look like and this was exactly it.

He didn't let go of her hand so they toured the house together.

"Sydney?"

"Yes?" he tickled her and ran off. She chased after him screaming things nobody should ever say in about 30 different languages. This was the only reminder of the life they led.

The funeral of hearts

And a plea for mercy

When love is a gun

Separating me from you

They were both happier then they had ever been before…
