Rory tried to avoid going near Jesse, the next day, but he would just start talking to her. After awhile Dean kept thinking that rory liked Jesse, but he tried not to think of it. "Why would she do that to my?" Dean would asked himself. "I just don't get it I thought she loved me." he would always try to avoid the subject of breaking up between him and Rory. But Dean decided that the next time he would see ror he would ask her if he wanted to be with him or Jesse.
That time finally came when Dean was walking Rory to the bus after they went to Luke's for coffee. "Rory, do you love me or Jesse?" Dean asked. "What?" Rory said stunned that he even asked her that. "You heard me." Dean said. "how could you possibly think that I would choose between you and Jesse?" Rory said trying to keep her relationship with Dean. "Because Rory, he's always talkig to you and he even tried to kiss you!" Dean said getting mad. "I thought you knew that I want to love you and kiss you all the time, dean I love you!" Rory said holding Dean. "Rory, i know you do and I love you but I always thought you guys likd eachother." Dean said holding Rory,too. "Dean, I don't have any feelings for Jesse, at all, he likes me but it isn't the otherway around, I swear!" Rory said. And at that moment Dean felt bad for even bringing this subject up so he decided to just kiss Rory. He loved her and she loved him. But, at that second Jesse walked by with his book in his hand. "Aw how sweet the love birds are at it again!" Jesse said. Not about to give in Dean decides just to ignore him.
After school, Dean decided to have a little surprise for Rory. He wanted to make this evening as special as it could be. He decides that he is going to take Rory to the first place they met, at the school, and they are going to have a little romantic picnic there.
It was very cold and it was getting dark, so Dean picked rory up at her house and he brought her to the picnic. He lighted candles and everything. He wanted to show Rory how much he really loved her. Rory thought it was gorgeous. "So do you like the whole picnic under the stars idea?" asked Rory while sitting down and holding her. "I love it!" rory said just waiting to kiss him."Rory now you know how much I really love you." Dean said looking into her eyes. "Dean I love you, too!" rory couldn't hold it in her she had to scream it to the entire town how much she loved Dean. Dean had to do the same exact thing. They were in love and nothing could stop them now.
They looked into the stars. Dean wanted to tell Rory something so special but he couldn't. He loved her so much he yelled, "I want to marry this girl!." And Rory turned white. "And I want to marry this man." Rory yelled. They were in complete love and they couldn't live without eachother.
It was almost the end of the school year and they knew that this summer they could be together every night, but that night was the most special one they ever had together. When it was time to go because it was getting to be 12:00, Dean kissed Rory until they couldn't breathe. He had a major surprise for her and it wasn't just the picnic, but he couldn't tell her. He was hiding this secret for a long time, but he had said it awhile ago. She loved him and he loved her. They were meant to be together, and no parent could tell them not to see eachother. When Dean walked Rory back home he gave her a good night kiss and he left to go home.
