Lovely Christmas fluff. Please review, I'm sorry it's short.

Christmas Cheer

"For someone who loves Christmas, you sure look pretty grumpy," Jordan teased. Bumping Garret's shoulder, she slapped at his hand when he attempted to pull down the tinsel she had strung around his office.

"I never said I liked Christmas," Garret countered, bumping her right back. "Quit assuming. I can't believe I let you put this crap up in the first place." Deep down he didn't mind it; his office looked better than it had in a long time. But if he ever let the fiery brunette know it, he'd never hear the end of it.

Jordan smirked and bumped him again, harder. "Ahh, you know you do. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to convince you. Ha." She hung the last bit of gold tinsel over a shelf on the wall. "There. Done."

Caught completely off guard, she lost her balance and fell back into the huge, open cardboard box that lay behind her when she felt hands on her shoulders and Garret shoving her. "Hey! Look who doesn't play fair!"

He smirked at her. "You started it."

Instead of hearing a snappy comeback, Garret quickly found himself half-on top of his companion with an "oomph".

"You weren't supposed to fall on me, you big lug," Jordan grumbled, and squirmed. "Get off." She placed her hands on his chest and pushed him sideways for all she was worth, but he caught her wrists, and the two ended up rolling over several times.

"Are you sorry?" Garret demanded. Awkwardly enough, Jordan was again beneath him, this time almost in the middle of the room. The box lay near the wall on its side. Garret had her wrists pinned above her head with one hand, and her hair was feathered out all over the place. His hand made its way to her hip and began tickling her mercilessly.

Jordan gasped for air. "Okay, okay, you win! I'm sorry!" She squealed with laughter and tried desperately to break free, to no avail. "God, you're strong!"

He stopped tickling and looked at her red cheeks and bright eyes. Without a second thought, he bent his head and kissed her, soft and sweet. Natural, was the only thought that crossed his mind, and his heart pounded as she raised her head and met him halfway to kiss him a second time, and a third. It wasn't long before they both lost count.

"Merry Christmas to you, too," Jordan managed when they pulled apart. Garret rested his forehead against hers and grinned.

"You still started it."
