Chapter One
Hogwarts
Selene's trip to Platform 9 ¾ was always slightly pleasant. Even though she was always lonely, Selene believed that something exciting always happened at Hogwarts, even if it was her getting sick. The curse of the Dark One had marked her mother's womb and was slowly killing her. Of course it killed her mother much faster because it was a direct hit to her. The curse had a nasty effect to make her ill every so often, and when it did make her ill, it drained her life-force even faster.
Selene stepped onto the train, but found there was no place to sit. She opened the last car and found three people sitting there. "Umm…do you mind if I join you?" Selene asked them. The boy with glasses shook his head and Selene took a seat next to him. He smiled at her and asked the girl her name. "Oh I'm sorry, where are my manners. My name is Selene. Selene Dragonheart." She told him. "What a pretty name…anyway I am Harry, Harry Potter and this is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley." Harry told her.
Ron was reading a copy of The Daily Prophet. Selene stared at the front page. "The Black Wind Returns" was the front page article. She gasped in fear. "Excuse me, Ron?" Selene asked him "What?" he replied. "May I see your copy of The Daily Prophet?" she asked him. "Help yourself." Ron told her as he handed her the paper. Selene read the headline about The Black Wind Returning. "No…" she said.
"Two Aurors were reported missing as of Sunday, August 24th. Their bodies were scattered all over a marsh south of Hogwarts. It is said that the killings were made by magic summons that come from the Magun, a magic gun that uses ground up Elemental Crystals called 'Soil'. With a combination of three 'Soil' bullets the Magun can summon any monster at his disposal. No one knows what he is truly after, but we will keep you posted."
