Alright, I've been reading so many HSM fan fictions, and now that I've read them all, and updates are being slow right now, I decided to start on a new one. There will not be a good summary because I like to let people figure out what's happening on their own. But it's a Gabriella/Troy story. It takes place the day after they won the game. The rest, you'll have to find out on your own.
Gabriella sat in a chair on her balcony, leaning her head against the railing. She knew she would have to tell Troy the truth soon, but she didn't know how to tell him. She saw somebody walking down her driveway. When she focused on the shaggy, dirty blonde hair, she knew it was Troy.
Troy knocked on the door, which was quickly opened by her mother. She could hear him asking for her and heard her mother's reply. Troy came up the steps and knocked on her door. "Come in." she said through the glass door that separated her from her room. He came in and went straight towards the glass door and opened it.
"Hey," he said when he walked up to her. When she didn't reply, he sat down in one of the chairs and pulled her chin gently to face him. He saw tear streaks going down her face. "What's wrong?" he asked. "I want to know something," Gabriella said quietly, almost whispering, "that no matter what happens, you'll always love me."
"Of course I'll always love you." Troy said. "Why? What happened?" Gabriella turned her face back down to the ground. "I'm moving in a couple of weeks." She replied, choking on her tears. "What?" he yelled. "Why?"
"My mother got a job that's sending her to New York. We have to leave in four weeks." She said. Troy turned her face towards her once more. He leaned in, getting closer ever second until his lips pressed against hers. The five seconds felt like forever to them. He broke away. "We'll get through this, somehow," he said. "I love you."

He started singing the song they sang that one them the spot in the musical. There was a small pause as he waited for Gabriella to sing her part.

Alright, hope you liked it. I pretty much have an idea going in my head. I had two, but the other was used too much, so, read and review and I'll be happy. Oh, and the kiss was supposed to be Gabriella's first, since she didn't get one at the game. I was pissed off about that, but they will have HSM 2&3. So…maybe she'll get that kiss.
