This was my first Doctor Who ficlet. As an Old School fan, I struggled with the entire concept of The Doctor in Love. But, by the time we reached Father's Day, I could no longer deny it was happening in canon. Still, I felt the Doctor must feel the same way, confused about Rose and his feelings. Age of Steel forces it to the surface. So, I wrote something about his inner turmoil.

A story prompted by the Doctor referencing Rose's mobile minutes in Age of Steel. I wondered what sort of long chats they might be having...and PWP happened.

When she wakes up, she's broken and tried. So The Lady, beleiving she's the last Time Lord, does what they do best: save the world. Again. And she does it in heels.

"Spoilers" isn't a satisfactory answer to everything, but River Song was always very good at casually saying things that could rip his hearts wide open.

Three TARDISes, three Doctors, and three companions in one place. Please don't bother looking for a rational explanation for this, because the answer is "Because I wanted these interactions to happen." :-) I honestly thought this one was finished...and then I got more ideas. :-)
