Wow! What a way to find oneself. Inside the Rachham, Cruiser class starship, a lifeless ship seeming as if the Grim Reaper passed through.

He had made his presence just a couple of hours ago when we first came upon the lifeless yacht in the outer rings of Ursa Major 3. We had tried hailing it as much as possible before the first wave of attacks came.

"Beep!"

It was the starboard side that happened to be struck first, which happened to be our main gun ports. With the first valley that came in, almost half of the six-gun ports where heavily damaged. It sent the ship into mayhem with the repair crews, pilots, engineering, and stewards trying to get everything situated so that we could get decompressed. Forthcoming a loss of all artificial gravity and air, within the cabin. Of course, before the ship can be decompressed everyone, including myself, would have to get in vacc-suits. When everyone was set, the captain gave me the order to start the sequence.

"Beep!"

However, the attacking ship was a step ahead of us; they started laying out a heavy barrage into the bridge of the ship. When the pass was complete, my cockpit was blasted into two. At this point in the strategy, the captain had only one thought process, abandon the ship. It seemed as if this attack ship had us pinned though as a ruthless brawler would.

"Beep!"

Then came another steady beep from the computer console, signifying that another shot was coming in. That was when I actually heard the ship groan under the blast. As the blast came into the port side of the ship, it hit so delicately that it struck the engine room deep within the heart of the ship.

A moment passed in which my hearing was gone. The sight of sparks flying across my vision as the computer terminal spewed them forth.

My vision started slipping as my head throbbed due to the bumps it had received. As it further slipped the floor came up to make the final adjustment to my vision.

Bump.

As I came to, I realized that the mix of blue carpet was cradling my body as I lay against it. "Hello?" I screamed as I up righted myself from the floor of the Cabin.

"Hello?" I presumed crawling around screaming my voice out to see if anyone was there.

As I stood up, I persisted in finding another living soul left alive by the Grim Reaper, "Hello?"

"Anyone alive?" I cried out, more as a desperate last attempt to find a living animal, anything would do at this point. Feeling so alone with no answer from anywhere in the isolated outer rings of Ursa Major

As the ship rocked in motion as another explosion happened somewhere on the ship, I stumbled, knocking my head into a computer terminal. Blackness embraced me, cradling me as a lover would.
