Anis apprehensively rubbed her belly while she sat on the living room couch. How much weight had she gained? Ten pounds? Fifty? Well, it was enough to be hospitalized.
Her husband Ryu hugged her from behind, pecked her on the cheek, and murmured, "You'll be okay."
"I check in in one week," she whispered frightfully, "W-What if I can't-"
"You can."
"Even the doctors don't know if I can!"
"The doctors aren't pregnant! You can and will be a good mother."
The hazel-eyed woman melted into his embrace like butter.
Yes, I can...along with my Ryu, she thought.
