Lathanide: Oh! hides book behind her back Hajimemahite! I'm Lathanide and this is my very first fan fiction. Now peoples, review and be as truthful as possible. I know some might be harsh but it's constructive criticism! I don't speak Japanese very well-
Kyo Sohma: Very well? You don't speak it at all!
Lathanide: Well, thank you for joining us, Kyon-kun.
Kyo Sohma: Didn't I tell you not to ever call me that again!
Yuki Sohma hits Kyo in the back of his head. "Continue" he replied coolly.
Lathanide: Thank you, Yuki. Well, who shall do the disclaimer? Tohru?
Tohru: Hai! Lathanide does not own Fruits Basket or any organizations accompanied by it.
Lathanide: Arigato, Tohru. Well, let's begin, hai?
Kyo: Whatever cat ears showing

Chapter 1: How It Came to Past
Normal POV
"Gu-tenmorugen, Kyo-kun!" Tohru yelled happily, hovering over Kyo's face. Kyo's eyes fluttered open and saw Tohru. He yelped and retreated back a couple of feet.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, covering himself with his blanket. Tohru just smiled.
"Time for breakfast!" Tohru replied, leaving Kyo in his room.
"Hurry up. Some of us have to go to school." Yuki stated Kyo as he stood in the doorway wearing his school uniform.
"Quiet, rat!" Kyo muttered.
"Itadakimasu!" everyone said before eating their breakfast. After eating, Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo headed towards the door.
"Kyo, I have to show something absolutely fantastic!" Shigure said, dragging Kyo away from the rest of them.
"Let go of me! Don't you have to a book to be worrying about?" Kyo growled.
"Don't worry about it! I have plenty of time. My editor is not coming for the next three hours!" Shigure replied, dragging Kyo to the living room.
"Um, um.." Tohru began, unsure what to say.
"Don't worry about it" Shigure said, "Kyo would get to school safely."
"Let's go, Tohru. We don't want to be late." Yuki said, giving Shigure a look. Shigure nodded for a second before turning away.
"What do you want?" Kyo asked, fixing his collar after Shigure stopped. Shigure stood silent for a while, looking at Yuki and Tohru as they walked away. Kyo's aggravation disappeared. "Is it him?"
"No." Shigure replied, still staring., "Be careful today. I sense something coming." Kyo stared at Shigure for a while, waiting for further information. Shigure stood silently. Kyo turned and walked out the door.
Gu-tenmorugen Good morning

Kyo turns and walks away with his tail between his legs.
