Year 1
She'd seen Kenneth pick his nose on the train so Alicia wasn't going to touch him. But she wanted to share her excitement with someone. So even though she'd never before met him, she grabbed the boy behind Kenneth. He frowned at her, and Alicia quickly let go of him. It was time for her Sorting anyway.
Year 2
At first Alicia was concerned because Warrington seemed to be in a lot of pain. But then the overgrown oaf, who'd walked straight into her, had the nerve to blame the accident on her. He smiled when Snape gave her detention, and Alicia vowed to "accidentally" turn his ears into cup handles during Transfiguration.
Year 3
Alicia was ecstatic to finally play in a real Quidditch match, but she was also a bit afraid. Oliver had warned her that she needed to watch out not only for the bludgers, but also for the Slytherin chasers, who used their larger bodies as human bludgers. Flint terrified her enough – though not as badly as he scared poor Katie - so it lessened her anxiety to find out that Pucey, not Warrington, would be playing today. Pucey wasn't small, but he wasn't as big as Warrington either and he didn't personally dislike her. Even her very smile of relief seemed to offend Warrington.
Year 4
She'd just passed a group of younger Slytherins placing bets over which of their muggleborn classmates would be the next victims of the Heir of Slytherin when she saw Warrington alone. Usually she avoided having to interact with Slytherins, but she needed to vent. Infuriatingly, Warrington seemed amused by it all. Not that she expected a lecture from her to change his mind.
Year 5
She wondered how long he'd been watching before he interrupted her and Richard. She was only joking when she asked if he wished it was him, but the answer was obvious from the look on his face. The knowledge was almost worth the points she'd just lost Gryffindor. It would never be him, and they both knew it.
Year 6
There weren't many people in the Great Hall for breakfast the morning after the Yule Ball. Despite how little sleep she'd gotten, Alicia felt wonderful. She hummed to herself as she poured a glass of orange juice and buttered a couple of slices of toast. Then she looked up and caught Warrington staring at her. No, not staring, glaring. Maybe she'd accidentally stepped on his foot sometime last night. Alicia ignored him, though she lost the desire to hum.
Year 7
She must have misheard him. But he didn't repeat himself, so Alicia couldn't be sure what he'd said. If she'd heard him right, she should slap him. Maybe that was his plan. Maybe he wanted to provoke her into violence and get her in trouble with Umbridge. Because even a Slytherin wouldn't try to extort…physical affection from a classmate, right? She walked away, not sure whether she was more horrified by Warrington's proposal or by the part of herself that wanted to accept it.
