Hello! Second fan fiction so hope you guys like it, I know it's sort of late to be posting a Halloween story but it's still pretty good. I hope. Right now it's a one shot but if you guys like it I could turn it into a series. Well enjoy and remember to R&R!

Chapter 1) Costumes

Kitty finds out why on Halloween people (and neopets) dress up for Halloween.

It was a normal boring day for people who were not what you would call boring or normal. It was only about a week away from Halloween, Haillie, a blonde owner of Neopian, favorite holiday. Why? Because Halloween involved the worlds' greatest creation, candy. Haillie now sat in a long white dress with see-though sparkly sleeves and a bent halo on her head. She had been bent over her desk planning world control with the Meepits, and was now planning their first attack with simple weapons, the one thing most Neopians didn't even notice, ACORNS!

She had been bent over her desk so long she did notice a small yellow aisha standing in the door way as Meepits ran back in forth looking at her plans. The Aisha went by the name of Kitty, and was wearing a simple Halloween costume of fake devil horns (which sometimes seemed to be real) and a red costume that went up to her neck, covering her small paws. The aisha coughed, trying to get her owners attention, but Haillie seemed to be to wrapped up in her work to really notice, Kitty stepped forward this time, completely in the room now as she watched her owner whisper to a Meepit sitting on her hand. Then the Aisha looked at her own yellow Meepit who was between her devil horns, named Banana. Kitty stepped forward again; waiting for her owner to turn around, but when she didn't a slight frown appeared across her face. Now she walked right up next to her owner as the Meepit left in a hurry,

"Haillie?" she said, her owner turned at once to see Kitty looking down at her,

"Hay Kitty, what's up?" she asked as her youngest neopet took a seat on her lap,

"Why do people dress up for Halloween?" asked Kitty, Haillie thought about this for a moment, Kitty being a dynamite expert had always figured out this stuff on her own, not to mention she had a PHD is crazy go-cart driving like herself. Haillie smiled, an idea coming to her mind, it was as simple as cheese! If cheese had anything to do with being simple,

"Simple Kitty," she reasoned to Kitty who was staring at her wide-eyed,

"You see, people dress up on Halloween to hide their identity," said Haillie still beaming with pride, Kitty gave her owner a confused look,

"It's so people don't know what little monsters and devils there giving their candy to, and later when we steal more then two pieces which is so unfair because we all know that two pieces is just NOT ENOUGH and there should be like a complete raise and-"

"Back to subject," said Kitty cutting off her owner and edging her pea sized brain back to the subject,

"Well, they can't come chase after us some years later when we forgot about it," Haillie said smiling, Kitty smiled understanding, she hopped out of the room with Banana clinging to her fake horns, she plopped down on her bed, looking face to face with her petpet,

"See, I told you it wasn't because it was a signal of world power!" said Kitty smiling and closing her eyes and she scratched her little petpet under the chin. She got so lost in humming a tune to herself she didn't notice her petpet's eyes glowing red, and she didn't happened to notice to muttering,

"Will see little neopet, will see,"
