The control of the Imperial Remnant. Cloud, a boy about 11 years old went to his usual spot and picked up his electro-pickaxe. Cloud did have parents, back when he was born on the planet Corellia. Him and his family were taken away by invading Imperial Forces back before the New Republic. His parents died in the mines and Cloud had to live on. It was just like any other day. Hot, thirsty, and over worked as usual. Cloud was always fascinated to join the New Republic, but he knew his chances were dim. "So, find anything new Cloud" asked his friend Dakk. "No, same 'ol, same 'ol." Cloud replied and continued mining. But something caught Cloud's eye, a sparkling spot in the sky, no 2. or 3, or 10! "Hey Dakk, check that out!" Cloud said with excitement. "Whoa, what is that?" Dakk asked. "I don't know, but I have a great feeling that this is THE day." Cloud said. "Dude, you've said that thousands of times. We are NEVER getting off this big piece of Bantha fodder. Dakk was only 2 years older than Cloud, and used to be a farmer on the planet Tatooine. "Hey, those spots are getting bigger!" Cloud said with utter excitement. "Wait a minute…. HOLY IT'S A FLEET OF NEW REPUBLIC CRUISERS!" Dakk shouted jumping up and down. The New Republic had finaly come to liberate the planet. Lasers flew and Cloud and Dakk knocked out the guards with their electro-pickaxes and grabbed their blasters. "I'm not going to stay here forever, come on Cloud!" Dakk said and ran blasting every guard in his path. Cloud ran hesitantly towards Dakk, blasting guards and watching the firefight with awe. "Oh my god, it's an army of JEDI!" Dakk shouted as a small army of Jedi Knights ran out of a transport, slaughtering guards and freeing slaves. "Hey Dakk look, it's Luke Skywalker!" Cloud shouted. Luke Skywalker, legendary war hero. Ace pilot who destroyed the Death Star and recreated the Jedi Order. But Dakk did not respond. "Dakk, did you hea…. No…" Cloud said, he looked down at the body of the only friend he had. Blasted by one of the guards. Cloud shouted in fury and shot thousands of blasts at the guard, literally tearing him apart. He picked up the body of his now dead friend and ran towards a transport, hoping to escape. He jumped aboard carrying his friend's body and stowed away in a container box. He felt the ship move and was relieved that he was rid of this horrid planet, but he was sad that he lost his one and only friend in that battle.
