"Why do we need to know this crap?" Sirius whispered to Kirstie.

"Well you see... Wait... We don't need to know this." Kirstie whispered back. The group of five had made it to Ag. Science. The class had already said the pledge to te flag, which the marauders had never even heard of because first of all they were magic and secondly they were from Europe. The teacher, Mrs. Nolting, had started class late because she was in her office doing other things for FFA. A third of the class was over before she came in to the room. When she had come in and had taken care of attendance she started talking about the ways ag. science had advanced from the last century. It was sooo boring...!

Remus was sitting in the chair next to Peter and James and was taking notes! NOTES!

Why are you taking this class? A note slid toward Kirstie. It came from the vacinity of James.

This class sounded interesting and I had nothing else better to take. Kirstie wrote back. She slid the paper back to James.

Oh... Otay then. The note didn't go back to Kirstie after she had read that and slid it back to James. The rest of the class slunk by with James falling asleep over his notebook and Sirius laughing at the drool that crept out of his friend's mouth. The high-pitched bell rang again and Kirstie hurriedly grabbed her books and walked out the door to her next class.

"Where do we go now Kirstie?" Asked Peter.

"Health boys... Not fun but easy at least." Kirstie wasn't too happy about going to health class with the four boys. Especailly since they were suppose to be starting Sex Ed soon and she didn't know when. She got to the room and there was a note on the door.

"Mr. Biddlecome's Health, 2nd Block, go to the computer lab room 213." Remus read out loud.

"Alright boys. Let's go." Kirstie said disappointed. Thursdays weren't fun. They walked through the cafeteria, again, and ended up in front of one of the computer labs. Kirstie walked in and sat in the first seat closest to the door. The computers were off. This wasn't a good sign. A man walked in and so did a boy Kirstie's age. The boy sat down in the chair across from Kirstie and the marauders sat down close to Kirstie in the following positions: Remus moved a chair beside Kirstie, James sat behind her, Sirius moved a chair beside James, and Peter moved a chair to the other side of Sirius. All the other students started arriving and a few seconds after a girl named Jessica entered, the bell rang again.

"Hello class. I am Mr. Kline. This is my son Kenan." He pointed to the boy sitting across from Kirstie. "I am going to be your Sexual Education teacher. First I am going to pass out cards and I want you to write your name on them. Stand them up so I can see your name when I walk by. then I'm going to give you a small quiz to see what you already know." It took him about ten minutes to pass out the cards, tests, and some "pretty blue things" Peter called them. They were really pens but Kirstie had given him a pencil so he didn't recognize a pen. After the items were passed out, he announced that we were not able to keep the pens until two weeks was over and thus ending the class. We took the test with Sirius and James every once in awhile snickering and laughing between themselves about the questions. After the test, Mr. Kline asked questions about STD's and gave candy for the right answers. While he was doing this, Kenan leaned over.

"I recognize you from somewhere." He said. "Aren't you Jaclyn Shepherd's cousin?"

"Yes. I'm Kirstie." As this was true... She was Jaclyn's cousin, she had to agree. Kirstie had noticed Kenan looked familiar to her too. He was nice and they talked for a few minutes.

The class was over soon enough and everyone was packing up to go to their 3rd block or lunch. Kirstie was going to lunch. The boys had their notebooks and pens/pencils packed up and were standing by their chairs like everyone else ready to leave. Since they had no clue where to go, they had to wait for Kirstie before they could go rushing into the hall madness.

"Back, again, to the cafeteria. It's time for lunch." Kirstie had told them before the bell.

"Oh boy!" Peter had said. "Lunch. Lunch. Lunch." He was excited... To say the least.

"I wonder if their feasts are as big as Hogwarts' feasts..." James was dreaming when Kirstie pulled him toward a table. She had already got the other three there but James had lagged behind.

"Now... leave your things here and we'll go get in line." Kirstie told them. She was upset at having to crush James' dream of having a good lunch at a puublic shcool. Especially this one...

They went to get in line and since there was hardly anyone in the cafeteria for lunch yet, they were of the first few in line. Kirstie led them to the line on the left. They had about the same food choices in both right and left, but Kirstie liked the left's extra items better. After she had shown the boys how to get their lunch she went up the the lunch lady at the register.

"You actually eat this... this... Wait a minute... is this even food!" Sirius complained. Apparently not the feast he had expected. They made it through the pushing and shoving of the register line and got to pay.

Kirstie had gone through when the boys had some trouble.

"Are you new?" The woman slowly asked each of them in turn.

"No. We're just here for today. To visit." Remus was the only one who could think of a response.

"Here. Put two of their lunches on my card." A boy behind Peter said helpfully.

"Thanks for the help, Brad." Kirstie said addressing the boy.

"No problem, Kirstie." Brad said. He smiled and looked at the other four boys. "Are you four sitting with us?"

"Put the other two on my card please." Kirstie told to woman when Brad had paid for his and Remus's and James's lunches. She went back through the line and paid for Sirius's and Peter's lunches. Brad led them all back to the table and sat down.

"You know... Deven won't be too happy they took her seat." Brad whispered to Kirstie.

"Yeah.. But luckily, I don't think she's here today. Emily won't like the fact that Harry Potter characters are sitting with us. She hates Harry Potter."

"What the bloody hell is this!" James yelled. Fortunatly not too loudly. He was poking a chicken patty. It was a bit hard today.

"I think its chicken mate." Sirius told his friend.

"That's chicken! You're kidin' me!" He wasn't very happy. A chicken patty, a small piece of cake, and green beans was a far cry from the Hogwarts dinners. "Look at this Padfoot." He stabbed the chicken with his fork and let go of the fork. It stood straight up and never fell. Sirius, Brad, and Kirstie were laughing and Remus was trying his best to hide a smile. Peter, meanwhile, had already finished a third of his food. He wasn't picky... Food is food is food.

"Hey Zack! Hi Meredith!" Kirstie turned around and was calling to a tall boy walking toward the table. Behind him was a tall girl Kirstie had called Meredith. They sat down and started to eat.

"Hi Kirstie." They said in unison. Lunch was queit for a few minutes before Emily got there.

"Hi guys." She said to them all. She stopped a few feet from the table. "Who are you?" She meant all four boys who didn't normally sit at her table.

"Um.. I'm Sirius. This is Remus, James, and Peter. We're here to visit this school."

"Holy Crap!" Cried Meredith. "You're the marauders! You're in Missouri! Why are you in Missouri?" She said the last question with a hint of real curiosity. It was weird for world famous people (let alone fictional characters) to come to the tiny town of Carl Junction.

"Well... I really don't know. We've gotten fanmail from here so we decided to come." Peter shrugged his shoulders. "Thats about it."

"Who are the marauders, Meredith?" Emily asked. she had never read Harry Potter. She was a strong Christian who didn't want to read about witches and wizards.

"They are characters from the Harry Potter books." Meredith whispered to her when she had sat down inbetween her and Brad. They whispered between themselves for a few minutes and then decided to join the table conversation. Today the conversation consisted of Brad asking the marauders about the classes they went to.

"We have been to Ag. Science and Health so far, right Kirstie?" Sirius replied.

"Yeah. Thats right. And we have Language with Brad next block. But first I have to go to my locker again. You going to your locker today Brad?" Kirstie asked.

"Huh? Oh. Yeah."

"How do you eat this junk?" Asked James.

"Easy... Open my mouth, scoop up a piece, place it in..." Started Kirstie.

"No. Do you not taste the nastiness of this?" He asked.

"No. I've eaten this food for so long I don't recognize the taste anymore."

"Ah... Well it's still gross."

"Yeah. But you can either eat it or starve." He ate it.

Lunch trays were being put away and everyone was talking. Zack and Meredith were discussing their animae drawings, Brad and Emily were arguing about wether or not the war in Iraq was a good thing, and Kirstie was telling the marauders about her other two classes for that day.

"After Language, we have Biology. It's my favorite class. My friend Kevin is in that class. He is two years older but for some reason he's still taking Biology. He's awsome. You two will get along great with him." She pointed to James and Sirius. "You'll love Mr. Jones too. He's the best! he is so much fun. Kevin and I can talk for most of the class and he doesn't care as long as we're participating and doing our work while we talk."

"Sounds like fun!"

"Yeah... Maybe after Language. It's not that fun but my teacher and having Brad in that class with me make up for it. I like my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Simmons. She used to teach at the school I'm moving to in about a month."

"You have to leave this school?" Sirius asked surprised. He didn't know muggles change schools when they move to a different town.

"Yes. My family decided they didn't like the wrestling team here and want to move to my dad's old school where my cousins live and there is a better wrestling team. I'm really going to miss everyone here." Kirstie glanced around the table and stopped for a few extra seconds on Brad.

The annoying bell rang again.

"They really need to get a new bell here. It's really annoying." Remus said thoughtfully.

"Yea. It really is." Kirstie agreed. She led them to her locker again talking to Brad on the way there. At the locker she grabbed the books for her next two classes and walked over to Brad's locker across the hall. He dropped his notebook and she leaned down to grab it while he got the rest of his things shoved back in the locker. All six of them walked to Language class.

"Mrs. Simmons." Kirstie called when they had walked through the door.

"Hi Kirstie. Hi Brad." She said.

"These are my friends. They are visiting Carl. Can they sit with me?" Kirstie asked politly.

"Sure. What are your names, please?" Mrs. Simmons turned toward the marauders.

"James."

"Peter."

"Sirius."

"Remus."

"Alright then. Kirstie? Show them where you sit. You boys don't have to do the homework but you can if you want to."

Brad walked to his seat and Kirsite to hers. The boys followed. Since Kirstie had the other four with her, the two students that had sat at her table were told to sit elsewhere for the day.

"You really like him don't you?" Remus asked Kirstie when they were seated.

"Who? Brad?" When Remus nodded his head, she nodded her's in return. "Yea. I don't have enough courage to tell him though."

"Ah. Alright. You want me to do it for you?"

"No. But thank you. I think he knows from all my other friends that have told him just to make me mad. He never acted any different so maybe he never heard."

Mrs. Simmons had started class and was talking about the story they were about to read, The Most Dangerous Game.

"Turn in the books to page 265. We are going to start The Most Dangerous Game today." You could hear the pages rustling and pencils being found in purses or pockets. "We're going to listen to a tape. Read along and be filling out your paper on the setting and characters. Be sure to make your opinions coloumn twice as long as the facts and plot points side." She turned on the tape and the voice started reading.

"This story is really weird." Sirius said after three pages. "Why is he hunting humans?"

"He says it's a game." Remus relpied matter-of-factly.

"How is hunting people a game? Thats not a game, that's murder."

"True. But remember Padfoot, this is a story. It's not real." James mentioned entering the conversation.

"Is there a problem back there?" Mrs. Simmons asked looking at the boys after she had paused the tape.

"No, ma'am." Peter cowered a bit. She started the tape again and went back to grading papers.

Hey Kirstie? James asked. Again with the notes Kirstie thought.

Yes? She wrote.

Is this the only thing you do in this class? Sirius wanted to know.

No. We have worksheets too. Kirstie grinned to herself.

Worksheets? What are those? Remus was interested.

They're papers we get and have to answer questions on them.

Ohhh... Is that it? Don't you do anything fun!

Well... No not really. I told you this class wasn't that fun.

True. Are the worksheets easy?

Most of the time.

Moony's a bit obsessed with school.

He can't help himself.

Loves it.

Why isn't Peter talking?

Oh him? He never passes notes with us.

He's either sleeping or too worried about getting caught.

I see. Well are you boys coming back tomorrow? We have different classes.

What classes?

Are we allowed to come?

Sure you can. Is there a reason you should not be allowed?

Don't even start Padfoot An evil grin was spreading over Sirius's face.

Where is a hotel we can stay at?

What classes!

You don't need a hotel. You can stay at my house. We have a huge playroom I could set up beds in.

WHAT CLASSES?

Sorry James. I have Algebra, French, Computer Apps, and World Studies. I don't like those classes. Wether its the teacher or the actual class.

Sure. We'll come. But do we have to go to the boring classes?

No. I'm sure Heidi wold love to have you go to her classes.

Otay. We'll go to Heidi's classes with her.

Are her classes boring tomorrow?

No. Her's are fun. At least by the way she describes them. We have seminar together so we'll talk about it then.

Okay.

Otay.

Okie-dokie

artichokie

hey... I was suppose to say that!

Too bad. James got a tongue stuck out at him.

Pack up. We have five minutes left. Kirstie warned.

The annoyingly annoying bell rang again.

"Come on. Biology this way." Kirstie led them to her next class.

A/N-- This chapter was too long so I split it in half. I have the other half right now though so don't fret over wanting to know about the awsomeness of Jones! (He really is awsome!)
