The group, Sirius, Remus, James, Peter, and Kirstie, walked onto the bus and walked to the back. Kirstie and Sirius sat behind the boy named Zack, Peter sat with James in front of Zack and Remus sat next to Zack.
"Good morning Zack!" Kirstie said enthusiastically.
"Oh no... Not this again.." Zack mumbled more to himself than anyone in the vicinity.
"It's alright. I have to put up with these two every day. Surely Kirstie can't be that bad. And this comes from being with her all day." Remus was trying to comfort Zack but he knew better. 'Kirstie is hyper to no end on the afternoon bus trip,' he thought. He was right.
"Okay now..." Kirstie murmered to Sirius. "What you have to do is just jump up behind them when they least expect it and keep saying hi. If that doesn't work... keep asking them questions. Usually obvious questions you already know the answer to like 'What are you doing'. Stuff like that." Sirius was very happy to try it, as was Kirstie happy to demonstrate.
"Zack! Hey Zack!"
"What?"
"HI! HI! Whatcha doin? Are you reading?" He was. "Is it a good book? What is it? What is it about?" He never said.
"Let me try," whispered Sirius to Kirstie. "MOOOOOONY!"
"Yes, Padfoot?"
"HIIIII! What are you doing? I'm yelling! It is quite fun! You should try it sometime. It's alot better than howling! Are you reading, too!" He was trying desperately to ignore his animagus friend. That is until James caught on...
"MMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNYYYYYYYYY," James practically yelled.
"My god... All of you, shut the bloody hell up!" Remus had had enough for the day.
"At least someone has enough courage to tell them to shut up." Peter said to himself quietly. He had aimed the insult at Zack but Zack hadn't heard.
Until Zack got off at his house, the group was silent. Kirstie had retreated to her book and Sirius had traded places with Peter. They were still to afraid to sit beside an angry werewolf. After the kids at the next stop had gotten off, James started to talk: surprisingly, it was to the angry werewolf.
"Moony? Are you mad?" James wasn't very in tune to his friend's emotions.
"Jeez Prongs. What gave you that idea?"
"I don't know. I think the boogey man slipped it into my brain a few minutes ago. Or maybe it was the tooth fairy..." James shrugged his shoulders.
"You have a brain!" asked Remus sarcastically just because he felt like it.
"I think I do... Do I have a brain, Padfoot?"
"I still haven't figured that out mate. If anyone knows whether you do or not, it's Moony," Sirius said laughing slightly.
"Hey... We're at my house. Let's go." Kirstie led the boys off the bus and onto the driveway of a light blueish/grey house.
A/N-- This is all true. That is exactly what I do to poor Zackie on the bus and I really do say Good morning to everyone on the bus. (Zack is Albiro on this site. Check his story(s) out!)
