Resident Evil: Heavy Storm

Prologue: - A New Beginning.
January 1st 2005 - 06.30 – Journal Entry 0001
The start of a New Year and of a new journal. This day marks a major leap for us. Today a proposition was given to the highest ranking officials in the US Military. This proposition is one of vast importance that could very well decide the future of the nation. It refers to the incident 7 years ago, July 24th 1998 to be precise, at the Spencer Mansion. The one where the Umbrella Corporation used human guinea pigs to develop horrific biological weapons, that lead to the infection of the near by city of Raccoon. Because of the wide spread outbreak in the T-virus that turned people (and even some animal) into living horror movie monsters, into zombies. As far as the general public knows the reports of zombies were works of fiction based around an epidemic of a new radical disease in Raccoon City. The disease was isolated and the town destroy to prevent nation wide infection.
Its cases like these that many officials have put forth this proposition. Silly me, I'm meant to be archiving this moment yet I haven't even mentioned what the proposition is. The proposition is for the Military to set up a shadow regiment, a selected group of skilled personnel banded together to research, prevent and eradicate any such activities like that of Umbrella's.
It'll be lead by two former S.T.A.R.S members who survived the Mansion incident. I forget the names but right now that's not important. The regiment will act completely behind the scenes, though it will be funded by the Government only high ranking officials such as myself will know of them, even the President will only get the rough details on this regiment. The meeting to discuss the proposition is about to begin.
