Aang's POV
I wondered when it all happened, me wanting to be with her. I suppose it all started when she helped me defeat the fire lord
Flashback
"Aang look out" A 15 year old Katara yelled
"What" he said just then a wave of lava came towards him
Just then Katara used her water bending skills to stop the liquid fire
Then she preceded to freeze ozai's liquid in his body "foolish girl, and what a shame avatar your girlfriend must protect you" Ozai said
"The only shameful one is you" Aang yelled then his arrows and eyes glowed and eerie blue. He summoned up a ball of rock, swirled water around it, the surrounded that by air, and that by fire. It took a long time but Katara was distracting Ozai and when Aang threw it Ozai was too late he caught the full force of the blast and fell to the ground life less
"hey aang' Katara said walking up to find her friend in tought
"O…..hey Katara" Aang said glumly
"why are you so sad Aang" Katara asked concerned
"no reason" he replied 'I should tell her but she wouldn't want me'
"aang please tell me I cant bear to see you sad, you look like your gonna cry
I lo… care for you to much to see that" she said looking like she would cry any second 'he almost caught that'
"Its just that I love someone and Im scared to tell Y... Her" he replied softly
"Who" Said equally as soft instantly jealous of this person

He whispered
Katara was so shocked she forgot to answer him she
was so joyous she didn't notice the boy get up and start running to
the forest
"huh aang where did you go…" that's when she noticed him and froze his feet
"why did you run off aang" Katara asked
"obviously you don't love me it was mistake to tell you goodbye Katara" Aang yelled through tears
Katara shocked him by kissing him on his lips soft but firmly
"does that answer you" she said blushing
"yes it does" he said
"I love you Katara" Aang said
"I love you too Aang" Katara replied
