Nothing belongs to me, it all belongs to JKR.

She never did

She never did like the sound of her husband shouting,

Or the sound of a hand slapping a face,

She never did the believe in the ways of Lucius,

To put her son in his place.

She never did like the sound of "Crucio",

Or the sight of Draco writhing on the ground,

She never did like the sound of him screaming,

Or the sight of his eyes pleading, wide and round.

She never did like the long lonely nights,

As Lucius passed out from to much beer,

She never did like her son crying,

Form too much pain, abuse and fear.

But she never did hug her son,

Comfort him, tell him everything's alright,

She never did tell him she loved him,

To get him through the empty night.

She never did stand up to her husband,

Argue with him, tell him "That's enough",

She never did tell him to stop it,

Though she knew when he was being to rough.

She sat and thought of a better life,

One where pain and hate was all a myth,

And when the night came she would look at the stars,

And pray that come true, her one and only wish.
