From a Passionate Houshi to His Tajiya
Come live with me and be my love,
Though sometimes I might require reprove,
Though sometimes I may tend to wander,
Your love I could never squander.
As we continue to roam this land,
In our intrepid little band,
We sit alone together,
Though we can't yet talk of forever.
What I offer may not last,
As all will eventually return to grass,
But what I have is all the world,
As we sit and watch the fireflies swirl.
I can offer you a home ever changing,
As is the scenery we are pacing,
A family that, though strange
I know you could never exchange.
I could give you a charm for whatever ailment,
And of course expect no kind of payment,
I would never let you suffer alone,
Since for you there is no home.
Though some may disagree with my decision,
This promise won't receive any revision;
This is what I have to offer you,
For your love and mine, is ever true.
