Thanks EVERYONE for all the great reviews. I wasn't sure if this story would be well received, but I guess I was wrong. And now for your enjoyment…
Olivia pulled Elliot in closer as the kiss deepened. In her mind, they were the only two people in the world at that moment, and the only two that mattered. In between kisses she confessed her feelings to him. "El..I.. Casey was right. I am in love with you." No sooner had the words come out of her mouth did he break the kiss and stand up.
"Are you serious?" he asked her out of breath.
"Yeah, I am Elliot." She stated flat out not caring about the consequences.
"Olivia.. I…I gotta get out of here." And with that he put his coat back on and walked out the door. Olivia sat on the couch dumbfounded, not really sure what the hell was going on.
Outside Elliot headed for O' Malley's, the bar that he and the squad always hit after closing a tough case. The bartender looked up as Elliot sat down at the bar.
"Hey Detective. Where's that hot little partner of yours?"
"Josh just give me a beer." Elliot said ignoring the man's question. Josh returned a few seconds later with the drink.
"Thanks man." Elliot sat there at the bar drinking and looking around at the patrons in the bar. One of them resembled Casey, for a second there he thought it might be her. Then he remembered that she never came there with them. A woman sat down at the bar beside him and stuck out her hand.
"Hi, I'm Angel." Elliot ignored the woman. She tried again. " Having woman troubles?"
Elliot looked up from his beer and just laughed. "You have no idea lady."
"Want to talk about it?"
"I've got two beautiful women in love with me, yet I'm the one sitting here at the bar tonight alone. What the hell is wrong with this picture?"
"You don't have to be alone... for a price." She said suggestively. Elliot got up off the stool and whispered in her ear. "Unless you want me to arrest you, get lost." He pulled his badge out of his pocket briefly. The woman's mouth dropped open and she got off the stool and walked out of the bar. Elliot sat back down and ordered another beer.
"Benson, Stabler my office NOW!" Cragen bellowed to the squad room.
Elliot and Olivia walked into the Captain's office and shut the door behind them.
"What the hell is up with you two? You walk around here acting like you can't stand each other. Did something happen that I'm unaware of?"
"No. Captain." Olivia stated before looking at Elliot who just stood there looking like a kid who got sent to the principal's office.
"Good. I need you two to go undercover tonight to try to get the bust on Taylor Ericks.
"The guy who raped that woman at the movie theater the other night. What makes you think that he will be there?" Elliot asked.
"Ericks works there. All we need you to do Olivia is flirt with him and see if he makes a move. Elliot you will be undercover as her date. I want this guy off the streets tonight."
"We'll get him Cap."
Elliot pulled into the parking lot and looked over at Olivia who was wearing a black skirt with a blue pullover sweater. He had to admit that she looked gorgeous. He parked the car and turned it off.
"The first time this guy pulls something you give me the signal and I'll bust him." Elliot told her.
"I know Elliot. I'm a cop too remember."
"I know that I'm just making sure that our plan is intact."
Olivia checked her earpiece and the gun in the holster of her boot. Elliot did a mic check to Fin and Munch who were parked in a nearby van.
"All clear."
"That's good Elliot. Let's get this show on the road. Remember don't let her out of your sight." Munch said over the walkie talkie.
Elliot and Olivia got out of the car and walked up to the ticket counter and bought two tickets for "Hostel". Elliot put his arm around her as they walked inside. She couldn't get over how right it felt, but decided not to say anything.
"I'm going to the men's room, go get some popcorn or something. " He kissed the top of her head and walked off. Olivia looked around and saw Taylor working behind the counter and went over to him.
"Hi. I'd like a large popcorn, extra butter, and two medium cokes."
"Two? One for you and one for me?" Taylor teased her flashing a million watt smile.
"Actually, they are for me and my date."
"You don't need a date. I'm free."
"But I'm not. " She raised her eyebrows and smiled at him. "How much?"
"$5.35. I'm serious, you are way too hot to not be with me."
"Cocky aren't; we? I tell you what, if my date turns out to be boring then I'll let you take me out."
"Trust me honey, every guy is boring compared to me." He handed her the popcorn and drinks. Elliot came up behind her and put his arm around her waist.
"This guy bothering you baby?"
"Her cheeks burned hearing that word from Elliot towards her. She took a deep breath. "No, we were just talking. I got us some popcorn."
"Okay well we need to hurry up, the movie is starting in five minutes and I want to get good seats."
Elliot led her away. Taylor watched them walk away. Olivia turned around and smiled at Taylor before entering the theater.
Inside the theater, Elliot and Olivia took a seat near the back. The movie was okay, just your typical horror movie. After the movie, they walked back outside to the lobby. Taylor was nowhere to be found.
"Great. Now what? He isn't out here El." She said in frustration.
"Wait here. I've got to go to the bathroom again. Stupid ass Chili dogs."
Olivia laughed and went to take a seat on the bench and wait for Elliot to return. A figure sat down beside her. It was Taylor.
"Hi, so was he boring?"
She looked up. "You just don't give up do you?"
"Not on a beautiful woman I don't." he replied smoothly.
She grinned at him. "He was kind of boring." She told him setting her plan in motion.
"Well why don't you let me show you a good time?"
"What do you have in mind Taylor?"
"How do you know… oh yeah, nametag. I still don't know your name."
"Rachel" she said using her undercover alias.
"Well Rachel." He reached for her hand. "Let's get out of here. I've got somewhere to take you."
Olivia looked over towards the bathroom and didn't see Elliot yet. She talked loud enough for him to hear her through his earpiece.
"Sure Taylor. Let's go."
Taylor led her to the back of the theater up a flight of steps and opened a door. Inside was a couch and a projector with hundreds of rolls of film.
"Wow. What is this place?"
"Oh like you don't know…Detective Benson."
Olivia turned around in shock. "What are you talking about? My name is Rachel."
"Bullshit" he said grabbing her roughly and pushing her onto the couch. She silently prayed that Elliot was looking for her now.
"Taylor, look. I have no idea what you are talking about!"
Elliot had heard everything on his earpiece and was searching the theater with his gun in hand. He kicked in several doors and still no Olivia. Meanwhile Olivia was trying to fight off Taylor, who had found her gun and now had it fixed on her.
"You son of a bitch, my partner will be UP here any minute and then you will wish that you never drew a gun on me."
Elliot heard her loud and clear. He searched frantically looking for stairs. He saw a sign that said projection room, second floor. "That's got to be it." He radioed for Munch and Fin to come inside
"Elliot! Help me!" Olivia screamed as Taylor ripped her sweater off and forced himself on her.
Elliot hit the stairs two at a time and kicked open the door with his gun drawn.
"Get off her Ericks!"
Taylor jumped up. Olivia tried to cover up. Taylor dropped the gun and put his hands in the air. Elliot kicked out his feet from underneath him and slapped the handcuffs on him. Munch and Fin entered and took Taylor away. Olivia sat on the couch crying. Elliot took her in his arms.
"You're okay. I got here in time."
"I know. I.. it's just.. I was scared that you wouldn't."
"When have I ever let you down Liv?" he replied while brushing a strand of hair off her face. Olivia sniffled. Elliot handed her his coat and she stood up and he put his arm protectively around her shoulders and led her back to the lobby.
So how'd ya like that one? You know the drill.
